  1. Correct! Missed that one (one of those days!). I'm guessing there must be a reason (although I'm buggered if I know what it is!!).
  2. What date was that, as I can't see a 'blank' in the fixtures?
  3. I said it to him at the P&P before the season started (it might have been on Practice Day on the Sunday, I can't remember exactly), Jonny was our best signing of the winter.
  4. David Bargh, Mark Thorpe...... Meanwhile... I thought the Bandits would have beaten Redcar by a bigger margin than that.
  5. I'd rather see 4 riders in a race, rather than 3, if it can be avoided (excluded and a re-run for example).
  6. Clearly I didn't. If any offence was caused it was totally unintentional.
  7. When did Chris Kerr break his neck? Must have missed that one.
  8. Seb Alden has broken his neck (Seb's Facebook page), so yes.
  9. http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/motorsport/518087/Berwick-sign-Romano-Hummel-stunning-tryout
  10. That's home to Glasgow on BH Mon. Mike is asking about Redcar away in the LC. It's been on the Redcar website fixture list for a few days now Mike.
  11. We didn't have superiority in the first place, as far as I know (with Glasgow - not sure about Newport) because of that coin toss (as far as I'm led to believe at any rate!). But, yes, we would have lost it when we switched back to Monday's "for Bjarne" (although we did run on some Sunday's that season too).
  12. The BSPA would have blocked that move as it's not "in the interest of British speedway"......
  13. Both teams came back in the same year, 1997. Glasgow had ridden under the Scottish Monarchs moniker and were classed as a new team when they returned. We had closed down altogether, but returned that same year. We (well a certain person ) lost the toss of a coin to get seniority of Sunday's.
  14. Sadly, Liam Carr is currently out injured Sissis got 5+1 for Sheffield in July last year (Sheffield won 41-48). He beat Lewis R, Bates and Simon N in heat 2. He beat Lewis R in heat 5 for a point. He beat Christian Henry for another point in heat 6. He failed to score behind Robbo, Lewis K and Anton Rosen in heat 9 and failed to beat the two mins in heat 12 and was excluded and replaced by Josh Bates.
  15. Lee Payne was gifted a point (his only point of the night) in heat 14 earlier in the season. Can't see how he is capable of beating our second strings or Lewis R. He might be Danny P, but I'd personally question that (around Brough, at any rate).
  16. Could be R/R for Hugh Skidmore for the Bears tonight : http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100526
  17. Apparently, if it's a double up rider missing due to him riding for his double up team, you can bring in a guest. If he was out injured (and the only rider missing) R/R would apply.
  18. Probably by going to the said tracks, opening his eyes and seeing gaps on the terraces that weren't there before?
