  1. I actually thought Archie had got up for second in heat 2. I even (stupidly) wrote it on the 'big' scorecard!
  2. Heat 1 73.0 Heat 2 78.3 Heat 3 73.8 Heat 4 79.9 Heat 5 73.0 Heat 6 79.5
  3. From what I heard George say (re: Rye House) was that the date they have offered us to go there, Robert has his 3rd round of the Final of the U-21 World Champs and he doesn't want to go to Rye without Robert. We wanted to go this weekend (24th) but Rye said "no" to that as they would have riders missing (I think that is what he said was the reason), so negotiations will have to continue until an agreement is met, I guess.
  4. The problem was 1) it was very short notice for one of them to drop out and 2) there was NINE NL teams riding yesterday.
  5. Line-ups for this one (as posted on the Ipswich website): Newcastle ‘Sapphire Engineering’ Diamonds: 1. Steve Worrall 8.98 2. Victor Palovaara 5.49 3. Matej Kus 6.22 4. Ludvig Lindgren ©7.37 5. Robert Lambert 8.30 6. Ashley Morris 4.37 7. Danny Phillips 3.00 Team Manager: George English Ipswich 'Tru7.com' Witches: 1. Danny King © 9.38 2. James Sarjeant 5.45 3. Nico Covatti 7.32 4. Morten Risager 6.88 5. Ben Barker 7.56 6. Joe Jacobs 4.78 7. Shelby Rutherford (g) 3.00 Team Manager: Ritchie Hawkins
  6. So, you weren't there the night Newcastle was there and Garrity and Lambert had a terrific race as described by the Updates site: Heat 11: Garrity, Lambert, Sissis, Phillips 4-2 (34-31) 61.7 Line Up: Garrity, Sissis, Lambert, R/R - Comments: Fantastic race between Garrity and Lambert. Best we've seen at Sheffield all season. Both riders were tough on each other consistently passing each other. But Garrity held on for the win. 7. We had that a few years ago, but was ditched for the current system (except it was 2 pts for a home win of 6 or less)
  8. Marvelous, so we are going to have exactly the same problems as we had this year!
  9. It says above your post (post 3481 & 3482) that no facility is available, so they wouldn't be able to use R/R, just an NL 3 pointer.
  10. I think there is a good chance that it will be 6 man teams next season. No idea what the combined average per team will be and whether they continue with an NL 3 pointer at number 6 and, say, a supplementary reserve at no.5 (or wherever in the team), remains to be seen. Very little appears to be coming out of the practice matches held at King's Lynn, so really, once again, we have no idea what's going on!
  11. Nathan Greaves not riding at No. 7 for Sheffield? EDit: Just seen he's U19-ing. Unusual for Sheffield to ride on a Wednesday. Any particular reason for it??
  12. Replaced by Kyle Howarth, which means Rye House don't have a representative: http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31262
  13. Not necessarily. If Steve and Victor are both missing too, then we can have guests for Steve and Robert and R/R or Victor.
  14. From Robert Lambert Racing Facebook page: Robert Lambert Racing feeling annoyed. 17 mins · After last night I did go to the doctor to get checked out and get some treatment on my hip before tonight's meeting. But I got advised by my doctor to not race until it gets better and singed me off for a minimum of 48h after the incident happened, witch means I couldn't race tonight at Leicester and tomorrow at Sheffield. I'm really upset about that I can't race at Sheffield for the plrc on Sunday and was a big meeting for me on my calendar. But when your body says no then I can't go against what it say and make more damage. I hope to be back Monday for Newcastle just need to see how things go over the next 2 days. Sorry to all the fans and supporters who was going to Sheffield to see me racing round there. But I'll be back strong better than going there and being weak. Have a good night everyone and sorry for the bad news
  15. He injured a hip at Plymouth last night (couldn't do heat 15 because of it). 16. Really? He injured a hip at Plymouth on Friday night and couldn't do heat 15 because of it.
  17. They are also riding against Swindon on Wednesday, so one of them must be a re-arranged fixture, but I don't know which one! Just to complicate things - this is a re-arranged fixture as well of course - so I presume Belle Vue will have first call on him. So it looks like a guest at 1 and R/R at 2.
