  1. David Howe has retired. He has already said on Twitter he'd like to do just one or two meetings (speedway) next year, but is prob going to do grasstrack.
  2. They mean EL only. No riding in the PL as well.
  3. What happened, in my opinion, was that they lost Glyn Taylor (for whatever reason) and also lost the Swales's. On top of that, they changed the track slightly and ever since then the racing hasn't been as good. The same can be said of Derwent Park. Since they reshaped the track slightly, the racing I saw every week when filming or when I was there doing the interviews (for GRT Media), hasn't been the same.
  4. Do you not have to say the guest was awful, rather than the choice of guest was awful?
  5. Crash in heat 3. EDIT: Ludde just Tweeted this: Ludde Lindgren #77 ‏@LindgrenRacing 3m3 minutes ago Well done by The guys @diamondspeedway . Myself: I hurt my knee and had to pull out of the meeting. Hopefully will be better soon!
  6. So... according to the Rye House Twitter Updates... Matej Kus IS riding tonight.....
  7. On Twitter Cook out with hand and shoulder injuries (tweeted by Belle Vue)
  8. Hans Andersen tried that a few years back, saying he hadn't been paid therefore wasn't going to ride - and was promptly banned for 28 days for withholding his services.
  9. Apperently Matej is at Brough on Sunday, not at Rye on Saturday (despite the line-ups on the Rye website says Kus is in the team!!). Sorry, Forgot Kus is Missing Saturday and not Sunday! They still might go R/R at 3 (I think I would), rather than switch Victor away from no. 2.
  10. Diamonds will go: Barker, Palovaara, Kus, Lindgren, Worrall, Morris, Phillips, in that order.
  11. Where's your 3 pointer? Or do you think that idea will be dropped next season? (serious question, not being 'funny' with you!). It's a nice little line-up mind.
  12. Would fans be willing to travel (and prob have to take extra holidays) midweek for 'Big Events' though? The Pairs is only well attended on a Friday due to Cardiff being the following night, I would suggest. The Fours, over the two days worked well, from what you read on here. So that'll stay for 2017 you would think. Would the PLRC be attended as well if raced say, on a Thursday, rather than the Sunday?
  13. Can someone please explain how it's "Reduced Admission" at £20? Thanks in advance.
  14. Nicolai Busk Jakobsen guests for Rye House (in place of ELRC bound Eddie Kennett) and Ben Barker is Newcastle's guest for Robert Lambert who is also ELRC bound. http://www.ryehouserockets.co/news.php?extend.1342
  15. 21 pts (not including tac points) in 3 meetings for Redcar this season, though.
  16. We couldn't do what we have been doing all season on the night it mattered.
  17. That is correct. Well done Sheffield (Select or otherwise). We dropped points when it mattered most tonight and that was the difference between an aggregate win and an aggregate defeat.
