So you would rather deny young riders the opportunity to ride and have them not run a team? -
Berwick 2017 50th Year
StevePark replied to balderdash&piffle's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Sheffield are the cheapest at £240 for all league/KOC/Play-off/Challenge matches at Owlerton in 2017. The cheapest of those offering all Champ Lge matches and 1 KOC match are Glasgow at £225. In alphabetical order (so there is no bias) as far as I can make out the full list is: Berwick £249 for all matches Edinburgh £258 for all League matches and 1 KOC match Glasgow £225 for all League matches and 1 KOC match Ipswich £255 for the same as Edin and Glas Newcastle £270 but it doesn't state what you get for that (but I believe it's all matches, but I could be wrong) Peterborough £300 for all matches + Parking + prog Redcar £230 All league matches and KOC matches inc any Play-off meetings, but doesn't inc Challenge matches, Individual meetings (Julie Lewis Memorial for example) or the Silver Helmet Scunthorpe £N/A don't offer season tickets (bizarrely!) Sheffield £240 All matches Workington £245 but, like Newcastle, it doesn't state which matches are included and which aren't. -
That long? Totally agree with SCB. You just have to take a look at the Newcastle 2017 thread and see the threat of physical abuse against me to see some posters really don't have much to say, other than to threaten and personally abuse other posters, which is a great shame as the majority of posters on the BSF, discuss things in a right and proper manner.

Not according to the BSPA website. He's got a 2.63 "team building average," but he could get a reduction on that?
-
Every club is going to be different (stadium rentals) and points money paid. Also will the BSPA allow us to know how much a referee is paid? On the racecard being printed in the Speedway Star, I really don't get that one. Either you buy a prog (varying from free to £2.50ish), or print your own off the PC/Laptop (basic cost) or buy a Speedway Star (£2.90 currently). For those who don't buy a SS, it's not going to increase the sales of a SS as it's at minimum 40p more than buying a prog., so they aren't going to buy one just because there is a racecard in it, surely?
-
Hans Andersen wasn't getting paid and said he would not ride until such a time he had been. He was told that if he didn't ride he would be deemed as withholding his services and would be banned for 28 days.

At least Robbo has a team place in the SGB Premiership with Rye House, unlike Matej, who may be missing out altogether.
-
As does Rose (5.97) according to the Diamonds Website. Also, according to the Website, Lambert is 8.70 (pedantic I know )

New Promoter is Kevin Keay: https://twitter.com/RedcarBears/status/804779827463065602

Mitchell Davey has a British passport now. I'm still unsure if he will be classed as a Brit for team building purposes as I haven't seen it anywhere officially.

So, you're looking forward to looking back! -
Looking forward to it already. I'll be at the the Practice and Press and Practice and you can see me at the back gate between 5pm & 6pm all season.
-
It would help if I knew who you were?
-
George E mentioned it tonight at the Talk-in.
-
Don't worry. It'll take a lot more than that to worry me
-
Yes he likely will be and probably with his personal abuse which he seems to have to resort to.
-
So, where's that gun for boomerang?
-
I think the best thing to do is ask George tonight how the reductions work!!
