  1. No (at least not at the current stadium).

  3. Liam Carr wouldn't be at 7. Ben Hopwood would. Liam Carr will have a 3.00 average, as he can't go any lower than that, as he's not a "new" NL rider.
  4. Brady Kurtz was Plymouth's number one who chose to ride in Poland. They also had Stuart Robson and Mason Campton guesting for them that night.

  6. Not what I was told. Because Belle Vue were "in limbo" at the start of the season, when the Diamonds signed Stevie, he was an asset of the BSPA and were told that they (Newcastle) would have preference over any team that Stevie signed for in the Premiership. It seems, yet again, that the "goal-posts have been moved."
  7. I was thinking more Workington, than Belle Vue (sorry, I should have said that in my original post), regarding Craig Cook. Replacing a 9.50 - 10.00 rider with a 2.00 NL rider is, in my opinion, bound to effect the attendance and, in all likelyhood, the outcome of the match.
  8. So, if a team is missing their number 1 (let's say Craig Cook), he has to be replaced with a 2.00 NL rider? You reckon fans would turn up for that? What would happen if a team is missing, say, 4 riders (it has has been known)? Would you expect fans to turn up to watch a team full of NL riders against much stronger opposition? The whole idea of guests is to keep it fairly equal between two teams. The only time I would advocate a 2.00 NL rider guesting, is when the rider missing is riding in a Polish Lge fixture (for instance). Guest, are, in my opinion, a necessary evil.
  9. Blame George for that. I have no control over the title of the column. Same as "A Walk in the Park" last season!
  10. For those who are suggesting changing the/a reserve(s) and dropping one (or more) of the top 5. It's not that long ago when some wanted an out and out number one (which meant changes lower down) and we signed Danny King and it changed the whole balance of the side. If the promotion were thinking about going down that route, Danny's unfortunate injury was an ideal opportunity to do that. The fact they didn't would suggest we have got what we've got for the foreseeable future, so, get used to it!!
  11. Bikes were coming up separately to Robert. (I believe I'm right in saying he has bikes over here and separate bikes over there).
  12. He looked into every possibility to get to Brough Park, I was told. As far as the train is concerned, apparently he would have had to change more than once, c*cking the times up completely.
  13. My fault! I stated earlier in the thread that after Friday at Edinburgh that would be when the averages change. I was wrong! Our 4th home league match isn't until Sunday at home to Peterborough.

  15. Fortnightly, apparently, this season.
  16. Josh needs an NL place. He isn't anywhere near ready for PL.. sorry, SGB Championship, yet. Give it a couple of years though and who knows? As far as Shanes is concerned, he would miss too many meetings with his Longtrack & Grasstrack commitments, which is a pity, as he appears to be the best of the 2.00 riders that aren't riding in the SGBC.
  17. Andersen rode in 15 meetings after replacing Adam McKinna who had ridden in 33, after Adam broke a bone in his neck against Stoke.
  18. I think someone has already mentioned this earlier in the thread, but Danny's average will remain on 2.00, as he won't have ridden in 4 home and 4 away matches.
  19. After we have ridden 4 home and 4 away league matches, which, weather allowing, is after Edinburgh away on Fri 19 May.
  20. Who rides for Mildenhall.... mostly on a Sunday.
  21. Newcastle haven't got a meeting today.
