  1. Taken off Sheffield's Facebook page: REQUEST TO SUPPORTERS Thursday night is our opening fixture of the 2025 season. We know it has been a tough week for all connected to the club, but we politely request that supporters do not approach riders and ask any questions regarding Tai Woffinden. Your Tigers’ representatives are individually and collectively focussed on the task in hand, ready to go, and would appreciate no distractions. As ever they will be going out there and giving it their all to earn victory - so let’s cheer the boys on loud and proud from the terraces and give them another night, and season, of outstanding support in both volume and numbers!
  2. That is the direct copy off Facebook. "we" is Berwick. Nothing to do with Mrs Steve Park (if she existed, which she doesn't). https://www.facebook.com/BanditsSpeedway
  3. I think it did mention Cookie originally, but it might have been edited since?
  4. Taken (copied and pasted) off Berwick Facebook: 𝗣𝗞 𝗢𝗨𝗧 𝗢𝗙 𝗕𝗜𝗚 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗗 Winter signing Peter Kildemand will miss next week’s Cab Direct Championship Big Weekend after suffering concussion riding for Oxford Spires last night. We expect Drew Kemp to now partner Craig Cook at the Pairs. Full Story - https://www.berwickspeedway.com/news/pk-latest/
  5. Cook and "expected" to be Kemp: https://www.berwickspeedway.com/news/pk-latest/
  6. 2019. Statement from Panthers: http://www.speedwaygbarchive.co.uk/news.php?extend.36139
  7. Berwick have still named Cookie as riding for them in the Pairs: https://www.facebook.com/photo?fbid=1281860183369261&set=a.213272360228054
  8. Depends whether Cook is deemed as withholding his services and gets a 28 day ban?
  9. Clarke Anthony Osborne on Companies House: https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/officers/CLm3d3BJFRD4vSOad0zh_5hh1kY/appointments
  10. But, in my opinion, we can say that about a lot of riders these days.
  11. Yesterday and today: https://britishspeedway.co.uk/british-youth/training-camp-for-gb-youngsters/
  12. He's at Redcar..... (sorry, couldn't resist!!!)
  13. He starts on a 5.00 average (see last line here): https://workingtoncomets.com/bowes-signs-on/
  14. He finished 2023 with an average of 5.24 (Birmingham).
  15. Has James Sargent still got any equipment after he announced he was retiring some time back? I know he sold some of his stuff to Jake Turner, the New Zealander.
  16. If your "head" isn't on the job in hand, then stepping away from speedway is a sensible thing to do, IMO. Last thing you want is to be "elsewhere" in your head when on a speedway track with 3 others doing speeds of up to 60mph.
  17. Which, in my opinion, just goes to show the state of British Speedway at the minute.
  18. Did Berwick try to get an opponent to race against in a challenge? Maybe they did, but couldn't get anybody to agree to the fixtures?? I don't know. I'm just playing "Devil's Advocate".
  19. Not always. Toronto Blue Jays won it in 1992 & 1993!!
  20. Exactly, so, if (and yes I know it's a big if!!) he doesn't "cut it" with "the big boys" he will probably get replaced (IMO).
  21. Technically, all matches are two legs, as the League matches have the Bonus Point up for grabs for an "aggregate" win.
  22. Some (especially June/July) could be blank due to Rain-offs in the BSN & KOC. But, with only 8 teams to ride against in the CL, what do you expect? Also don't forget 3 others ride on a Friday and they are all in the North and one of them is in the same BSN Group!!
  23. 12+4 in 2012. I remember interviewing him before the meeting for the GRT Media DVD !!
