  1. Only just watched Sunday’s meeting, having been away all week. What a pleasure the standard of commentary was throughout. If Nigel Pearson wants any tips, listen to the way Kelvin and Chris went about it. He’s supposed to be the “pro” at the job, they’re just sat-alongside-experts adding comments. They came across so much more “pro” than Nigel. Well done, Kelvin and Chris, I for one will be sorry when Nigel’s back behind the microphone.
  2. https://www.rugbyobserver.co.uk/news/new-housing-application-for-brandon-stadium-goes-up-against-plan-to-bring-motorsports-back-to-venue/?fbclid=IwAR30LNmucZpvtU0GUht_YhPsO8peVvpZdktkxBowqhFMZLS7bG9GV6MUnng
  3. Can you really make a 20 heat meeting a day out at each track?
  4. £20.00 entry for 20 heats which include the two-finals Use the Eurosport contract to have every round "LIVE" Every round live on Eurosport? That just encourages fans to stay home to watch rather than pay £20 at the gate.
  5. Did Pearson really say a fine third place for Paul Starke????? Three finishers!!!!
  6. …. says…. VIDEO! Great Heat 3 action from Tuesday's Plymouth v Poole Championship KO Cup match; No it’s not heat 3. It’s heat 13 No it’s not great action. It’s follow the leader, it’s from the gate If that’s what “the powers that be” consider great action, no wonder British Speedway is struggling Full marks to Plymouth and others for the presentation - rather better than Eurosport!
  7. Race winners should be made to take a “lap of honour” Engagement with spectators is vital
  8. Does anyone know whether the BSPA have been in touch with the “All-Party Parliamentary Group for Motorcycle Speedway”, if it still exists?
  9. Showground showed up Monmore Green as far as a proper track is concerned. Riders could race, instead of concentrating on staying on their machines.
  10. The stadium owners sold their stadium
  11. Coventry Saturday, Birmingham Monday and Leicester Tuesday for me, plus the occasional Wolves Friday.
  12. If Wolverhampton’s track followed the line of the greyhound track all the way round, it would make for a much better shape for speedway
  13. Overall…. what a p155 poor advert for a once great sport
  14. Perhaps therein lies the problem. In “the good old days”, them there great promoters like Charles Ochiltree, Ronnie Greene, etc WERE in it to make a living, hence their insistence on running a professional outfit and their valuing their customers, in order to maximise their income.
