You know that for a fact, do you? Different locations, therefore different conditions - nobody knows what their track staff could have done with the situation prevailing at Brandon over the last few days - or what levels of effort each track puts in -

Jack, it's Smolinski, not Slominski Sam, it's Jepsen Jensen, not Jesper Jensen Overall I think there's been an improvement in commentary tonight compared with previous meetings with these two, and it can't help having reserves coming in all over the place and starting gates swopped -

Shoveller has obviously dug such a big hole for himself that he can't get out Isn't it nice without his input to the forum -

For four heats the commentary wasn't too bad - if you ignore the "finger cramp" comment _ but the wheels have just come off in heat 5 -

Lakeside V Kings Lynn 19 May El A Sky Match
Midland Red replied to Vincent Vega's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
But earlier on you suggest Lyon had had 3 weeks to book a guest for this injury No, I fully understand what you and others have said - I'm just so p155ed orf with riders not committed to "bread and butter" league racing for their contracted teams as opposed to this dreadful "Ole Olsen All Stars Extravaganza Series" which has helped (albeit with the assistance of the BSPA of recent years) to ruin the sport in this country Let's get things back on track in this country and run only with riders 100% committed to the leagues - not to OOASES, European Championships, foreign leagues - we used to, and it worked, and if it means reverting to low-cost kit and semi-professional riders, them so be it And stop creating problems with doubling up and down - have enough racing in the UK for all who want to ride -

Pardon? I ask why there is a facility for a rider too injured to ride tonight but having been fit enough to ride last SaturdayEither he is fit to ride or he isn't As he is [was] why is there a facility? Your response didn't appear to answer this question -

Are not these riders actually "withholding their services" by riding in the SEC rather than for their contracted EL clubs? -

Chris Bomber Harris Performances
Midland Red replied to ghostie's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
In the 50 years I've been watching this great sport, there have been a lot of riders who were poor gaters - their reaction times were not quite as sharp as others so they zoomed away from the start line a tad behind the restWith Bomber it has always seemed to me that the biggest problem with his starts is not his own reactions (maybe they are slightly slower than the rest, I don't know) but the fact that he is so sluggish out of the traps on many occasions - no zooming away just behind but terribly terribly sluggish Is that down to rider or equipment? Is it bike set ups or clutches (perhaps he needs to talk to KK's brother!) or something else mechanical? As I say, to me, many of Bomber's poor starts look like they are down to the bike and not the rider - sure he's not a top starter, but I do think there's more to this -
And the startline girls

Usually a Norman Collier impression from the pits - unless they've sorted out the system! Overall, thanks to co-promoters Mick and Neil and Operations Manager Blayne!
