  1. That has to have been Kemp’s worst meeting at BP, Fricke also having his late start again this year not helping either.
  2. Rain this morning now stopped, although it’s rather black over Bill’s Mothers. Fingers crossed it stays away.
  3. I think you're the only two people who seem to think you have a point, yes.
  4. All riders in a race stand to gain an advantage if someone crashes. He only failed to finish the race because he got caught up in an accident that wasn't his own fault. Why is this so hard to grasp?!
  5. Who makes the mistake/causes the crash is irrelevant when it contributes to bringing someone else down. There was nothing Joe could do to stop that and he shouldn't be penalised when he was in full control and about to complete his race.
  6. That’s just silly, how is a rider being knocked off or colliding with a team mate who’s had an accident gaining an advantage?
  7. Joe Thompson needed help to get up as I think he’d been winded and he came off worse. Drew’s chain snapped according to one poster before. Wodjylo did well to miss the tangle up as well. I’m not sure what the rules are regarding pushing if you need to be helped/checked but it seemed to me that it was harsh on Joe who was in no danger until his team mate was out of control. …edited to add Joe didn’t fall of his own accord, he collided with Drew and also the question is when is the race finished? When the winner goes over or when everyone has finished? If Wodjylo hadn’t missed the Leicester riders would it have been a 3-0?
  8. I mean most people saw Kemp lose control and Thompson desperately try to avoid him, so what the referee was watching I don’t know. It was almost like slow motion.
  9. Wodjylo would never have caught Thompson so a 5-1 would have been harsh but a 5-0 is just odd when he had no chance of avoiding Kemp.
  10. He improved, his second ride was poor but he sometimes tries too hard and makes mistakes like that in heat 2. It’s hard to fault someone who wants to try hard but as in his last race it’s better to get the point and the heat advantage, that was all we needed from him at that point.
  11. Why should Joe not get the points for an incident out of his control? I don’t think anybody had even crossed the line when the accident happened either.
  12. That was the most bizarre decision I’ve seen so far, what is the ref on?!
  13. Raining a bit in Leicester, although it says should stop in an hour.
  14. I'm not overly keen, but I'm nearer 40 now so I'm no longer the younger audience! My biggest gripe is the black and the very small Leicester. At least we're not rebranding, that never ends well.
  15. I've said it before but I think if either Thompson is to progress they needed to move away from Leicester, and it did Dan a lot of good last year, especially with the lack of pressure. Also given the chance to learn at the exhaust of Sayfudtdinov who would turn it down?
  16. Not cocaine, ibuprofen can look like cannabis in some circumstances, but there isn’t much that mimics cocaine.
  17. Would there have been medical cover to carry on assuming it hadn't rained? I wonder if it was really worth it regardless of the reason it happened, I'm sure Oxford would disagree as they've now won it, and I don't blame them for that.
  18. If they're in any position to injure others or cause harm then yes, even rock stars should be damned. In terms of the detail, unless he's been drinking Coca Tea, then it's a vanishingly small chance that the test is wrong, and given that benzoylecgonine remains in the system for a very short amount of time it's unlikely that whatever he took wasn't within around 24 hours of him taking the test.
  19. Not quite sure how you can explain away cocaine and its metabolite through any painkiller use as far as I'm aware. Not sure what use the defence solicitor would have been, it's his sample and it tested positive. I don't ever want to see him in a Lions race jacket again.
  20. So Worrall is a lying coke head after all.
  21. So despite all the wailing of innocence on certain Facebook fan pages he's proved to be a dishonest coke head after all. He's let both Plymouth and Leicester down badly.
  22. There’s clearly a drainage problem now. The turd of Hemsley’s layout has been polished as much as possible in terms of racing, but at the expense of the only thing he got right, the drainage. Mind you if we were t trying to host finals in late October after it’s done nothing but piss it down for weeks what can anyone expect?
  23. Well hopefully everyone is happy the meeting has been run now, right? Only one rider carted off injured but at least we got a result, yes? Sickening.
  24. Fricke 8.98 Kerr 5.45 Douglas 7.14 Lawson 6.57 Masters 7.13 B Cook 6.00 Total 41.27 Do rising stars count towards the points limit?
