I have an amazing idea they can use, it’s called television camera. It’s on a fixed point with an experienced operator pointing it at the action.

You did, I hear he’s good friends with Dan Bailey.

Masters the only rider I’ve ever seen with a brake! Has he tried the engine from a Flymo?

Luke Killeen guesting in place of Hagon now.

Ipswich v Leicester June 20th

There aren't any replacements, it's probably as well to write this year off. Cook/Kemp and Thompson/Hagon were both just deckchair shuffling. The only change to make would involve taking a punt on an unknown Pole or similar and no way will Stewart do that, it also might not make any difference anyway. I didn't think I'd say this but I reckon we need a new no.1 next year. -

Clearly something not right here. 0's and 1's is inexcusable from Becker, we can't carry that, Fricke I'm bitterly disappointed with this year, Masters is on the way down, Cook wasn't the answer either. I wouldn't mind but it's clearly as bad at BP as on the road too. -

I’ve never seen Basso look for his team mate yet. -

Surely you’d make a change in this one Oxford? No? -

I don’t think the ref saw it until he watched the replay, but they’ve not said anything since about why he did t retrospectively exclude him. -

Commentary suggested he had nowhere to go because the Lynn rider ( Rowe?) leaned over him going into turn 1. Not sure whether that could be deemed as an excuse but otherwise I don’t know why he wasn’t excluded. -

If that’s the case he can only have decided there were extenuating circumstances, because otherwise you have to exclude him, surely? -

Tactical substitute? What are they on about. -

They both moved again second time! What was the point! -
That's the issue if anybody is going to stop him, he's clearly got speed and bottle, but nobody else in the series really tries to ape him at all. Especially riding against him. Fricke did well, he might have had more chance had anybody been able to pressure Zmarzlik behind him, but it was too easy in the end.

British Final 2024
40-38 replied to Hackett's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Back in the olden days when the sun shone all season and there was passing in every race and GB ruled the shale as we're oft reminded, the BLRC was always at Belle Vue and the British Final always at Coventry. I'm sure people used to complain about that too re advantage, but was there ever any suggestion realistically it would be anywhere else? The best riders should be able to win events at any stadium after all, it's not like the NSS is a trick track, and I doubt many riders fear riding it. -

I mean you could, but given we have a National Speedway Stadium we might as well use it for things like this. I genuinely don't agree that it makes that much difference, no guarantee Bewley was going to win it tonight, he nearly didn't. -

Gate 2 the wrong pick for Brennan. Glad Bewley won it from Woffinden though. -

Another break? Certainly think Brennan would be the better choice for a wildcard but I’d love to see Bomber trying to go around Zmarzlik as well! -

If he could pull moves like that in the GP he might not be staring down the barrel of elimination.
