Because however likely it is that we will beat Lynn and finish top, there's a chance we may not. It sounds like the decision was made for "commercial reasons" which is a terrible affront to those who've ridden for their teams and those who've supported their teams.

Surely it would have been a good idea to let supporters know that there was doubt and that he was riding through the pain barrier and would see how it went?
