  1. If we can’t get riders to turn up for a one off there’s no chance we’ll get their commitment for a series. Might as well scrap it and let the u21 champ be wildcard, and just have a league riders championship instead.
  2. That ragged start was appalling and Freddie should have gone in the first run. Tai should have realised though, he knew he was on a warning, he’s not daft.
  3. Rather seems like too many meetings in too few days has cut the track up badly.
  4. Can you watch this if you have Discovery+ added on via Prime Video? I can't find it if you can.
  5. Sounds like the effort was there from the Lions, just not the points. Let’s not forget only one team have beaten them at Owlerton this year - Leicester Lions. So don’t be too glum!
  6. From Bomber’s latest FB post, doesn’t sound too happy: “BOMBER is back as a panther I’m back racing for the Peterborough Panthers Speedway for the rest of the 2023 season, where I will also be captaining the side My first meeting back is Tonight 7.30pm, East of England Showground I’ve been absolutely inundated with messages, chats, phone calls regarding Leicester / Peterborough i’m honestly overwhelmed. I’ve been a loyal servant to British Speedway for 25 years - committed and raced each and every year. I love racing in my country as well as representing it - I literally bleed red white & blue. Over the 25 years there’s been times where I’ve been ill treated or been placed in situations I didn’t want to be in. I have always remained silent and held my head high, turned up and raced my bike.. I feel it’s now time I don’t stay silent, article in my own words coming soon.”
  7. Just hammered it down in the city centre, stopped now but looks like there might be more like that on the way.
  8. Think we'd be better off running R/R to be honest! When all riders chip in we have the balance right in the team but Morris really has derailed things, I'm unspeakably angry when I think about it, I'd quite happily de-bag and radish him on behalf of the SCB I think we'll be in the play offs but any chance we had of upsetting in the final has faded away somewhat. I think had Riss been fit Ipswich would have been far closer to the play offs, may be a bit too late now, relying on others slipping up as well is never easy.
  9. Frustrating. Nothing like the Lions we’re used to, but the Witches have the bit between their teeth. King always goes well here and they’ve had some back up tonight which is what they’ve been missing.
  10. I think there was some frustration, me included, that he just wasn’t quite getting it earlier in the season at BP. I think I said last year that a move away would do both of them good really.
  11. I did wonder why he didn’t have a generic suit he could wear, surely he’d use one in any individual meetings?
  12. Absolutely, both Thompson’s ride that line really well on bend 2 into the straight. If Dan could score like that away from home he’d really kick on.
  13. Doubt he’ll come back here whilst Stewart is in charge. Still not convinced he’s that good away from BP either.
  14. It’s not letting Thompson go which has ruined this match, it’s Troy Batchelor that’s costing us.
  15. Like a road block to Drew Kemp in heat 12 then.
  16. No chance Stuart would put up with owt like that! He’s a good rider, especially good at hating but like you say he’d not have made the difference.
  17. Morris really has let the Lions down badly. Batchelor is nothing like a replacement for him.
  18. No, I would never say they let us down. It's frustrating I guess that but for a few dropped points we may just have done it. Nobody will feel sicker than the riders.
