  1. EU riders dont need work permits/visas what I meant in my post is maybe with all the difficulties in getting a visa Government guidelines may now be a lot stricter on movement between employers for visa holders if it means a British subject loses their job.Thats of course any job not just speedway riders.
  2. Surely if theres a visa issue it should be a case of you cant let a foreigner put a British citizen/subject out of a job.
  3. But to yourself and the other Glasgow fans he was and still is the Six Million Dollar man.
  4. Just got in my local and it's already on Strange how in Sweden they raced while it was raining whereas over here the toys would've been out of the pram. Certainly looked like the Swedes are enjoying a typical British summer
  5. Surely they cant base it on when your qualification meeting was if say 6 from one country qualify the the kne with the worst record should miss out. Even if it means a raceoff before the 1st round to sort it out
  6. Because you like so many of us are a glutton for punishment in the vain hope that one day the lunatics running the asylum will manage to organise a p°°sup in a brewery subject of course to management committee approval that will be given and taken away numerous times dependent on which brewery the said p°°sup is at.
  7. Christopher Harris Jr is the name being whispered in the corridors of power
  8. I've never been to Plymouth but lots of what I read on this forum seems to sya there's good racing and Redcar used to get rave reviews so it must be a track preparation problem.
  9. Yet again The PL produces the goods in a tv match. Great racing a truly horrendous crash which thankfully both riders got up from. Anyone watching at home who had never seen the sport before will hopefully be on the internet looking for there nearest track to pop along and see it live.
  10. Heading to RyeHouse maybe. Terrible treatment of a rider though. Be intersting to hear Ty Proctor's thoughts as he wasn't too pleased when dropped by Zummerset
  11. I apologise if I have upset you or anyone else I use the forum for what is usually seen as a bit of lighthearted banter with admittedly on occasions far more serious posts.
  12. Down here a few equates to 2ish More importantly hows Dimitri his father was Mr Entertainment for us back in the day
  13. Turning the corner has been Glasgows problem for a few seasons now
  14. Is the conjurors(maybe the magicians) half crown still open in Poole.
  15. As much as I hate a lot of Health and Safety Testicicles that make commonsense go out the window in everyday work the relevant authorities at the GP tonight should hang their heads in shame by allowing Miedszinki to ride again they are letting him endanger himself and his opponents. Absolutely bloody disgusting.
  16. Miedszinki should be banned from riding for at least a week after that display of disorientation
  17. 3 Pints for a fiver you struggle to get a pint and a half down here
  18. Why doesnt every track employ the same method as used at Newport over the years, the 2 minute warning alarm sounded when the red lights came on, it can't be rocket science to wire it up.
  19. He needs far more than EL racing to develop a Career in the sport,he needs 3-4 meetings a week to keep him on his game, maybe he's being badly advised or been tapped up by another PL club with a view to Joining them on a lower average, dependent of course on which of the many averages a rider has is the one thats used by the BSPA that week. Perhaps his injury is playing on his mind he knows he can beat other draft riders but its more difficult in the PL.Last night there were a couple of occasions where he was in a great Position but didn't twist the grip
  20. Believe me for a 17 year old he pretty much puts this countries youngsters to shame.admittedly he didnt do mhch when he missed the gate but he had a nasty tumble beforehand. As for the Rockets IMO Lambert is too big to be a speedway rider and a small track like RyeHouse makes it very hard for him to manoeuvre quickly. Garrity I agree looked uninterested and didn't do the trackwalk with the rest of the team not very good for teamspirit. Thought Bowen was good value Boxall seemed to have bike problems and got well tucked up by Eddie K in ht15 heard lots of Rockets fans moaning Eddie K should be doing far better than he is. Bunyan and Matty T hit and miss averages only going one way. makes sense to bring Morley in though the real question is why wasnt he 1st choice to be number 7. He's good round RyeHouse and has plenty of improvement in him and afterall winning away can win you the league but winning at home is what keeps fans happy and turnstiles clicking.
