Pubs That Show Speedway On A Regular Basis..
Triple.H. replied to Shale Searcher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Harcourt Arms the Swedish pub in Marylebone London say they show Swedish sports and on their website they have a calendar showing which sports are planned to be shown cant see any speedway listed but you can also email them to ask if they could put it on. -
Covering the track is time consuming but could maybe work this way. Ie cover secured at whiteline and top of fence and dropped down the 6ft or so and secured to ground outside the fence. Track would be ventilated so hopefully preventing sweating and any wetpatches could be solved by grading when covers removed. Some may think its daft but at least its an idea.

Horrendous crash hope Doyley is ok possibly a good sign he wasnt on the gas and air when they put him in the ambulance.

Maybe a Health and Safety issue was playing on the Coventry teams minds.

EU riders dont need work permits/visas what I meant in my post is maybe with all the difficulties in getting a visa Government guidelines may now be a lot stricter on movement between employers for visa holders if it means a British subject loses their job.Thats of course any job not just speedway riders. -

Surely if theres a visa issue it should be a case of you cant let a foreigner put a British citizen/subject out of a job. -

Just got in my local and it's already on Strange how in Sweden they raced while it was raining whereas over here the toys would've been out of the pram. Certainly looked like the Swedes are enjoying a typical British summer -
Surely they cant base it on when your qualification meeting was if say 6 from one country qualify the the kne with the worst record should miss out. Even if it means a raceoff before the 1st round to sort it out

Peterborough Vs Edinburgh - Tues 6th May

Because you like so many of us are a glutton for punishment in the vain hope that one day the lunatics running the asylum will manage to organise a p°°sup in a brewery subject of course to management committee approval that will be given and taken away numerous times dependent on which brewery the said p°°sup is at. -

Wolves V Poole Ela 5/5/14
Triple.H. replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
NP is a saint compared to his brother Ronni. I remember when RP tried to stick Mick Poole in the fence in the 4TT there was uproar mostly from Panthers fans seeing their man even though he was riding for the mighty CHEETAHS being tucked up by one of their riders.ive called NP Dirty Nicki for many a year now but he is full on entertainment 90% of the time. Bit like Robbie Savage everyone hates him but would love him in their team. -

Which Team Will Be The First To Drop A Draft Pick ?
Triple.H. replied to speedibee's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Surely its about how much the top 5 and management of the team have bought into the idea. Cant remember which topic it was in but when Ben Morley got his paid max somebody probably Waco Posted about the help and advice BM had received from his senior team mates. That maybe down to Jon Cook and Neil Vatcher or have the senior riders cottoned on that the reserves can win them the league. Davy Watt is now in the wily old campaigner camp not a worldbeater but solid and dependable and Peter Karlsson been there got the t shirt and any promotor worth his salt would be looking to him for next season. Off topic I don't know how many seasons PK has done over here but he deserves a farewell meeting when he calls it a day. Solid, dependable, reliable, consistent he*s a credit to the sport. -

I've never been to Plymouth but lots of what I read on this forum seems to sya there's good racing and Redcar used to get rave reviews so it must be a track preparation problem. -

Yet again The PL produces the goods in a tv match. Great racing a truly horrendous crash which thankfully both riders got up from. Anyone watching at home who had never seen the sport before will hopefully be on the internet looking for there nearest track to pop along and see it live.
