  1. underneath a rollercoaster on Blackpool pleasure beach they had no idea fairs could be so noisy bless
  2. More importantly will Jason Garrity be fit and raring to go at the start of the season ? I certainly hope so and if he qualifies for world U21s he must go and rattle some of our European friends.bloody shame TN won't be over though, he and JG Missing the gate at Rye House then dishing out the entertainment is money well spent
  3. He got injured on the pressday.Cant Yoda use the force to help these riders with visa Problems out.
  4. Certainly in with a shout definitely needs to up his gating but I'd much rather he kept missing the gate and earned his points in the way that puts bums on seats.
  5. Justin EF Elkins must have driven more promotors managers and supporters mad than anyone luckily he never signed for us
  6. If JD gets a tier 5 visa and rides for Leicester does this also prevent him from guesting. Does it prevent him from riding in individuals, testimonials Benfund etc as he would only be representing his club in what now looks like a defunct ELRC.
  7. admit it you said that through gritted teeth
  8. TBH I asked many moons ago on this thread re riding though admittedly not residing in other countries if JD can ride in other EU countries it makes a mockery of EU law as far as I'm concerned. If the Australian team were invited to a Test Series in GB could JD and others in the same boat ride for them.
  9. PS like most Oxford supporters I think Rosco is a Tommy Tanker but as I posted earlier on this thread I hope he does ok I like a bit of enthusiasm and I feel he has it in abundance.
  10. I said when Cookie was dropped for the playoff to mates and may have even posted on here that it was a bad decision.Marketa suits gaters Cookie can gate when I got an A in O level maths all those years ago that would have been a CSE algebraic equation. The manager should have taken Cookie its the old problem he aint gonna get experience sat at home. No doubt in a few seasons if Cookie succumbs to the call from the south coast he'll be the greatest signing ever to tbose who worship at The Quayside
  11. But some international meetings are held on tracks like a ploughed field thats another type of tricktrack. Big mistake by Mr Middleditch in 2013 was he should have stuck with Cookie for meeting at Marketa where gating is so important or used Ben Barker at KL on a track which IMO suits him better.
  12. Certainly wouldn't have been my choice but there's no doubting he wears his heart on his sleeve also done very well at Bees and Robins probably far better than most thought he would. Bugger I'm starting to sound like he won me over at the interview
  13. Didnt Kenny Roberts get a track suitable for flat track built at one kf the road tracks in Spain if its still there and useable a few temporary stands on a MotoGP or WSB event weekend should/could be workable.
  14. It was as it turned out a hypothetical question but if he had become National champion would this not entitle him to a visa. Maybe being National champion would override other factors.
  15. It is they more or less that RCP borrowed the money off for the purchase of the GRA and stadia.
  16. If JD wins the Aussie championship does it shine a different light on his application
  17. Fred had a storming season for Poole in his last year here so his average may be too high. Dependent of course on which of the many conflicting formulas and rules are used to calculate it. Cracking rider and bloke too, why not have a look at Erik Andersson who also rode for Oxford, bit like "The Fish" in the way he occasionally liked to check the fence was still there but a good little racer.
  18. Well the laws an ass probably the same ass as lots of "British citizens" rode to the airport.
