  1. It's probably more like unlucky.I'm not condoning what he's done but I daresay the majority of posters on this forum have been under the influence at or on their way to and from work at sometime and were lucky not to get caught. He should get a ban and maybe made to qualify for the GPs but I know if I'm honest I couldn't be judge jury and executioner. Maybe the drug testers should turn up at a meeting and test everyone.
  2. You have to remember Greg was a bit Haremscarum over here in the early days though probably not as much as Billy the Bullet. Greg may appear to be a boring gater to many but it's years of hard slog that have got him to a position where he can get people pissed off with his entertainment value.
  3. Wasn't it always the way back in the day that a track had to have a meeting held on it to prove everything was in order before the "main event" to identify and hopefully prevent things going wrong on the day.Didn't Berwick get their FIM meeting this year because St Johann ? was deemed inappropriate as wouldn't be ready or of suitable standard in time. Yet they can run the GPs at unproven tracks
  4. Do the local promoters pay BSI a fee to run the meeting if so in my book that puts BSI at the top of the tree and ultimately responsible for any shortcomings by the local promoter. I was going to try and get to Riga as a spur of the moment thing this week. It's a great place for a weekend away glad it all went t**sup now. SWC in Great Britain next year ? All 4 rounds over here at 4 different tracks.
  5. TBH Phil BSI need to stop passing the buck. I bet In F1 for example any minor cockup means a big Q+A with Bernie Ecclestone.
  6. If BSI are giving refunds I hope they are (if it's applicable) refunding the generally extortionate booking and postage fees too. Daugavpils by coach been there got the Tshirt absolute crap journey.
  7. Who knows but I bet even the Sheffield supporters hope Liam rides like his namesake Peter
  8. Thought Justin Sedgeman came across very well in his interview after the ht14 incident. On a sidenote what happened to his brother Ryan I think his name was I remember seeing them have spin at Swindon many years ago.
  9. With all due respect Gustix you are spouting test-icicles Scunthorpe were always going to get shafted so the No.8 shouldve taken the R/R rides as mentioned by others and myself already. For someone who monitors this forum on an almost constant basis I'd have thought you may have worked out that very sadly teams don't have scratch/reserve and vulture races in the 2nd half. Mores the bloody pity that most clubs don't even have a 2nd half.
  10. Forum rule number one duly broken. No sensible posts
  11. Sad news indeed always a good entertaining rider RIP
  12. A very good idea and in the best interests of the sport in letting another novice get some competitive laps under his belt.
  13. i think he didnt pay the fine and so his ban starts from when/if he pays the fine. Dunno if he's doing any other motorcycle sport but you would think a ban would cover all sports
  14. You forgot Dirty Nicki he's total box office the Robbie Savage of speedway everyone hates him unless he's riding for them. Nice guy off track too from what I remember when he rode for the not as great as the CHEETAHS The SilverMachine.
  15. You must be KKS MJJ Liam Gallagher Morrissey fans etc in a new guise.
  16. I read on Tai's twitter that ES had donated his points money from Tuesday to the GOSH fund so a top bloke too.
