The farce in reality started after the test took place Darcy Ward rode in league/cup matches around UK and Europe for the best part of 2 weeks from memory. As the FIM have to wait for the report from the "event jury" ? To arrive at HQ. In this day and age why did it take so long haven't they heard of the Internet or faxes( does anyone remember faxes) Maybe as a new starting point Britain could lead the way by having a trained/qualified person breathalyse all riders before a meeting starts and all results recorded and archived.

No. I repeat. No sensible postsAnyway you cannot have covers unless they are of a homologated design of specialist tarpaulin
-
So if Darcy Ward wins his appeal can he get a work permit to ride over here ? Asking re his escapade in Australia last winter. Would that count against him

Exactly where British Speedway has got it wrong for so bloody long Ben shouldve been in the PL about 6 yrs ago and sunk or swum. instead too many PL promotions signed similar standard foreign riders. most of whom never really amounted to much.

I'll say one thing Brummie Fans we at Oxford were very lucky to have 3rd tier teams all of them entertaining probably more so than the Senior teams. Support your team you don't need the best riders to have the best entertainment.

Very early on in this farce long before Brian Rix had undone his belt never mind dropped his trousers I said the very same thing. I also mentioned that in the post cancellation chaos certain procedures may have been done incorrectly . Most posters who responded seemed to think I was a crackpot. Maybe I am,but maybe I'm right

I would tend to agree with SCBs annual response, but maybe the user's of this service are in the "senior" supporter bracket who may no longer drive or if they do prefer not to join the race back to England and we've all read various people's thoughts on the annual bunfight of getting the train back.

Whatever Tom's disability was it didnt seem to affect his riding everytime i saw him he was top entertainment

I can see this being a longstanding battle of wits.

If it's "Fixed" points and travel money as it should and have been and hopefully was in the EL last season it's doable.Congratulations on your new arrival but the burning question on the forum must be has he got a Bandits or Rockets Romper Race Suit.

Terrible post you should hang your head in shame My post is in relation to the post by Foamfence

IMO the discount for season ticket holder at another track is a no brained even if the discount was no more than a free programme it could be enough to get an extra spectator through the turnstiles. For example a Poole fan on holiday in the Lake District decides to pop along to see Workington he pays normal admission fee but as he has his S/T he gets a free programme a small price I would think for Promoters. You could even do it when the opposition are in town say a team has 100 S/T holders and instead of 10 turning up they all do that's got to be a decent earner.

But if you want your career to kickon it's what you have to do. Could he be hitting the GB rounds instead possibly an easier route to get further.IMO there are very few titles to win U21 National and World. Then the Big One.

Well at least I don't need a thesaurus to learn the correct meaning of words. Thought forum rules were attack the post not the poster and as a prolific poster you should be aware of that

Please learn to spell cheaters and not knock the team name of the finest British team ever (even though anyone can insert and quite reasonably post that you think your team are slightly better) Oxford Cheetahs.

Maybe SWorrall SpeedwayChampion knows

Any rider on an assessed average should retain that average for team building/riding position all season every season until the day they increase it.

I concur

Who Is The Best Pl Number One Ever?
Triple.H. replied to Robinh88's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I remember when Pip Lamb beat him at Oxford Pip celebrated like he was World Champion. Joe being the great man he was acknowledged he'd been beaten by a young upstart having the ride of his life. Great memories saddened by the fact they're both disabled now. -
I always use my pointy finger to count my chickens and I know which ones I've counted as I give them all names. Or the famous Glasgow tea that did Mick Poole in all those years ago

Baffling singings Great name for a covers band on the local pub circuit
-
Sorry if this has been covered before but if Kus Redcar and Berwick agreed a 2yr loan when he signed for Berwick last season and his average had plummeted to 3ish and Redcar insisted on the 2015 loan fee even if Berwick didn't want to use him wouldn't that be an even bigger bunfight
-
Once the minefield of assessed average riders EU/NoneEU IMO the only way forward is that for team building and the much hated guesting system their assessed average is always used unless they attain a higher one due to performance in which case that takes priority. May be against EU rules but haven't the Poles got an average type system in place which makes Cookie a bad gamble.

If there's no need for transfer fees then if you can't sell a rider How Can You Get A Loan fee
