  1. I'm not at Foxhall tonight but I heard a whisper from the girl on the turnstiles that her great great grandfather's mother in laws çousin had met someone in a pub that said it was TRUE/FALSE(delete as appropriate) so it could be that it IS/MIGHT BE /ISNT correct(delete as appropriate) Until there's a statement on the British Speedway official site I'd take it all with a pinch of salt as they've been quick to update the site with SCB statements this season
  2. Be great to see a rider in goggles with a Dame Edna style frame
  3. surely it doesnt matter if those of us who speak English cant pronounce your name If this was 1939 i'm fairly sure you would love to be telling us your name and how grateful you were
  4. Even though he may not ride on some of those tracks again for donkeys years what Adam and any other rider stuck in the same predicament is how to learn to change setups during a meeting.
  5. If he's eligible to ride he should be in regardless of his ability. A rider of Adams age and experience needs as many meetings as possible IMO it's a pity he's not got a team spot in all 3 league's.
  6. John Hyam, if only his numerous pseudonyms were forgettable
  7. Different nationalities have different needs.I'm fairly sure that those who come from abroad love the pre and post match conviviality at Cardiff just as they and ourselves from GB enjoy a different cultural experience when at events in other countries.
  8. You in your original post did mention the bias of the gates but you said it was unfair that Hoĺder (through his own efforts getting 2 of them )getting 4 gate 1sIf you don't cheer when your team gains an unfair advantage I congratulate you though you must be of a special breed to not cheer Lambert left a gap Garrity went for it his back wheel hit Lambert side on and Lambert fell off nothing like a T bone. IMO a T bone is when you hit a rider at a right angle not when you're parallel with them as if that was the case in heat 20 Bomber was T boned twice by Kildemand on the back straight.
  9. Chrissy Boy only had 2 gate 1s in the main meeting that's luck of the draw just as Magic had two gate 4s. S××t happens the other 2 gate 1s were down to Holder getting 1st pick due to being best up to each occasion on the night where the choice was available. Re Kildemand laying it down to gain an advantage it's part and parcel of the sport and you no doubt think it's great when a KL rider does it. Garrity didn't T bone Lambert he did knock him off if he had've T boned him they would've both gone down. You need to take your rose tinted star shaped glasses off
  10. Hope the draw throws out a heat of Kildemand ® Zagar ( Dirty Nicki (W) Hancock (Y/B)
  11. I've never been searched and I've been every year. Always get beer in as well. Admittedly it's already been consumed.
  12. Its not an interview as such as he is copresenting with Colin Murray from 10 till 1. Though I think on their website they do have a listen again feature
  13. Seems to take them a couple of weeks its obviously a very time consuming job for a highly trained individual to put a couple of tickets in an envolope
  14. I thought one of the visa problems was riders on a holiday visa having a runout in the 2nd half, though I suppose it's very different if you have Patriality.
  15. Seems like Holder and Newman expected about 8 Risager not far behind and no one's heard from The Fish Edit due to predictive bloody text
  16. Having seen numerous replays from all angles IMO Berge leant on Brady K before he was far enough ahead which caused the fall. Though in real time as it happened I thought BK should go.
  17. As the startgirls are shown mostly from behind wouldn't it be better if they held those boards the other way up. I doubt if the riders are reading the advert
  18. Palovaara and Summers stroll the Lookalikes competition Oh no they don't !!! my schoolboy error I thought Summers had had a trim
  19. Couldn't agree more I remember him having a go at Mick Poole at Peterborough when Mick Poole was an Oxford rider (One for the Glasgow fans he liked the tea at Oxford ) even the Panthers fans gave RP some stick for it. Think that meeting was a D/H and Wiggy ? got concussion in the 1st meeting so Evitts was given the golden ticket of guesting for the mighty Cheetahs of Oxford. Rambo and Evitts had one heat together and Rambo just rode through the tapes and got excluded when interviewed he said something along the lines of I'm not riding with that winker
  20. But instead of sitting your grandchildren on your knee showing them photos of your old bank statements give them a gold medal to hold that grandad won when he was with his team mates the best in the world Not having a dig at you HA just a comment re money motivation. To me and I know I'm a bit strange at times I'd rather be a well off winner than a Rich loser
  21. I disagree completely DN has proven many times over the years that he's a master of reading a race and knows exactly the right time to lay it down to get a decision going his way.
