  1. I don't wish to waste bandwidth so I'm not quoting Daveallan81's post but the stark reality of it is that Plymouth is the slowest track MPH wise and YET HalifaxTiger who I don't think Ive ever met and who probably attends more meetings at various tracks in a month than i do in a season posts on this forum absolutely raves about the racing there which proves you don't need speed for top entertainment
  2. One thing I've noticed is a lot of riders seem to struggle with laying the bike down. I remember years ago reading about Hackney training school and Len Silver wouldn't let you out with other riders until you could lay the bike down. Didn't someone ride over Nick Morris at Glasgow yesterday ?
  3. Things that are glaringly obvious to me are if your a promotor you get to vote as of then not 3 years down the line. Everything they vote on affects your business so why the hell can't you vote on it. Fixed entry prices say for instance Workington,Berwick or Plymouth for the sake of argument wanted to charge a tenner to get in why shouldn't they It's their business and they'd hardly be poaching fans off local rivals. I won't even mention advertising the fact that there's a team and meetings taking place, far better to keep it a secret for the chosen few.
  4. I believe Mr Hancock has one from photos I've seen on his twitter ànd instagram I always wondered what it was.
  5. NBJ likely out now as suffered a broken Coccyx in Denmark last week as reported on the Rockets vs Comets topic
  6. Were you one of them then Shads or would it have been a bit nippy around the nicky nacky noos
  7. Surely if SVEMO want to ban him it should be for 1 or 2 matches say next weeks meeting is called off then he's had no punishment. Who replaces him next week a junior in his position in the team or another rider of equal ability to the Grinning one.
  8. BK I think may be getting to the point where the pressure is starting to get to him ie He's Number 1 and expected to do a job every race He's guesting here there and everywhere and doing well because of his ability Then the WU21s as well Maybe his bikes and himself are getting a bit tired Or more likely IMO a temporary blip and he'll be back on it again very soon Cookie and Riss were on fire tonight so the last thing you want if things aren't going as you want Look at Woffy at the weekend a rider probably in the same predicament at a similar age and how much he's matured since then.
  9. Spectators will no doubt think there's a Timelord convention at the track due to the amount of Tardii(if that's the correct terminology) in the area.
  10. I reckon you could count on the fingers of one hand the times Sheffield has been a gaters track
  11. No doubting he's a great gater and we all know with that advantage you should do well, but he can't out gate his peers all the time and even when he does they have a good chance of reeling him in as they have more racing ability. It's my opinion you may not like it but if you put RL vs BK or CK on any track in the world I know who my money would be on to win a best of 3 Golden Helmet type matchrace
  12. Tsunami and another poster who's name escapes me have both posted that the panels come with strapping of some sort attached to the bottom and then attached to whatever is behind it fencewise. Tsunami said in his post it was a karabiner type attachment. So to my untrained eye I suspect the bottom straps of the fence should be attached to the suitable points on whatever is behind then when the panel is partially inflated the top straps are attached.
  13. Can Dickie the Gater do it 6 or if required 7 times on the night. It's a No from me
  14. Track is way too narrow why didn't they bring the white line in about 4ft along the straight (aways)
  15. Think its fair enough to say it's not far off a bloody miracle, daresay most of us left Peterborough fearing the worst. Loving the fancydan trousers too.
  16. Re photographers and film crews I think it's important to capture what they can but obviously not continue to film/photograph a stricken person. These pictures while hopefully not released into the public domain could help investigations by the SCB/ACU into why the gates opened so learning lessons and good practice to hopefully prevent further incidents.
  17. How can Robert Lambert be given a place when he has yet to ride enough meetings to get an official average a ruling that had to be ignored for the 4TT which he later pulled out of. I admit he should be in the PLRC. Could it have been protests from other teams which caused him not to ride in the 4TT
  18. I thought all the Tigers had a bad day at the office yesterday
  19. Could it be John Cowboy Cook coming out of retirement
  20. May I suggest that tonight isn't the right time for your petty disagreements with the Peterborough promotion/management/fans to be aired.
  21. Best wishes to Lewis Kerr. Also as all of us who were there can testify it was just a racing incident may I suggest that Josh Grazconek gets as much moral support from fans from all teams. Yet again a case of a rider going under the airfence. A problem I'm sure we would all agree has been happening far to often and it needs sorting NOW.
