A Way Forward For National League Racing?
Triple.H. replied to Electric6's topic in National League Speedway
Probably had the map view as landscape instead of portrait.Though this is a forum for bouncing ideas around most may disagree with the OP but it could be the way forward. Must admit I think it's totally wrong to use Guests or RR in any league but at NL it's farcical. -
Cracking race
-
AFAIK the rules haven't been changed but the powers that be would seem to be manipulating them as and when they wish.I've never seen BWD ride except on YouTube and I have no affiliation with Eastbourne whatsoever But if he is British enough to ride at NL level then he's British enough to go into the PL on a 3pt average.
-
But Ben this is Speedway and British Speedway at that, the rules change on a whim and sometimes during a meeting it's bloody farcical.Though I agree if BWD or any rider qualifies to ride in NL then that's it the decision is made you can't a few months later say he's ineligible.

I think you have to pay a couple of pounds a month to watch Eurosport online. Though Sky possibly swallow the fee for SkyGo -
Surely a lot depends on Hampels fitness both physically and mentally as it's a big bad injury to come back from. If the GPs started mid august AJ would've been Champion at least once. When he's on form he's bloody fantastic, so quick to get hiw wheels inline, fast, smooth and very stylish

He tweeted a while back that he's doing road racing next year.

Australian Gp Is Back
Triple.H. replied to Stats's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Totally correct the rights holders with their pedigree in a host of sports must have a hefty clout when it comes to getting media coverage.Let's face it Holder,Woffy,Hancock,Doyle and DN shouldve been on every local radio and TV sports bulletin not all at once just a quick minute or 2 interview with one of them and varying it through the day with competions to win free tickets. -
Well shows what I know. That used to be the rule
-
Is the number 8 the rider that all teams must name when using R/R but vary rarely do.

Warsaw Gp Saturday 18th April
Triple.H. replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I'm firmly in the camp of The Series rights holders hold ultimate responsibility for their series if they choose to subcontract for what of a better word any rounds to a local promotion then if a chain of events cause it to go bellyup they haven't done thorough enough checks and overseeing of the local operation. -

Ice Speedway Fixtures 2015 - 2016
Triple.H. replied to Hawk127's topic in International World of Speedway
I think one of the great things about Ice Speedway is very similar to watching proper Speedway abroad or back in the day in GB as our European friends aren't as hot on Health and Safety and you can get nice and close to the racing. I remember the 1st time I went to Assen with a few mates and the speed they went was amazing and getting pelted with ice just made it more fun and we were on the back straight(away)"must keep Sam Ermolenko" Happy and only a couple of feet from the fence -

U21 team final at Mildura Where that is in relation to Melbourne probably only our Australian friends can tell us -
Maybe Celtic were the most open to the idea though I'm fairly sure the forward thinking Glasgow promotion will no doubt try to extend the offer to other teams in various sports in the area. Let's face it if one or two become diehard attendees it's worked. probably more likely people may cherrypick an odd meeting or two if they enjoyed their freebee. Maybe all clubs could try a similar offer or even give 4 tickets for the next match as a raffle prize as most sports clubs have 50-50 draws. They could even call it The Booby Prize

BBC Radio Oxford still occasionally mention speedway in the sports news.
-
Nicki Pedersen is totally professional and a very nice bloke. I've had plenty of digs at him on this forum over the years but once the meeting is on he's in the zone and that's his focus. The vast majority of fans will rue the day he retires from the series or from all speedway as the guys box office.

Doesn't Jack Holders visa mean he has to stay at Plymouth I'm sure I read something along the lines of that earlier this year
