Should Ex Riders Get Into Speedway Free?
Triple.H. replied to Grachan's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I too find it disgusting if a paralysed rider was asked to pay.If you're the team mascot surely in a small way you're involved in the "show" -

I'd say with Mark Loram that as I believe he was married to Chris Louis sister (apologies if I'm wrong) and a close friend of Chris and suffered his career ending injury at Foxhall while riding for Ipswich that he's got a pretty good argument for getting in free.Maybe he sponsors or advertises and free entry is part of that deal. -
it doesnt matter where the switch is if Leicester with a blank canvas had built a racetrack, they wouldnt be worrying about refereeing decisions the'dve been worried about keeping the spectators full of food and beer
-
Surely the biggest problem at Beaumont Park is that with a blank canvas they failed to create a decent racetrack. Old and much talked over subject I know but if the track had been laid similar to Somerset I seriously doubt any of these problems would be arising

Are you signing Johnny Nash Edit I'll get me race jacket

He doesn't want to get his programme greasy. He's miserable enough without it getting to that. -

I was at the Edinburgh match a few weeks ago and thought there were a fair few 18-24 yr old in attendance. My tip of the day is pop into an outdoor pursuits shop and buy yourself a Spork to eat your fish and chips with. Only cost a couple of quid and if you're lucky you can get one in your team colour. It works well with all manner of takeaway food. -

He should put stickers on his tank to show how many times he's eased them off. -

They should get him a half and half racejacket -
If Kargers injury turned out to be worst than thought. Say 7-8 weeks and RH signed a replacement would they have to reinstate Karger into the team when fit again.

Wimbledon Stadium: Some Important News
Triple.H. replied to Parsloes 1928 nearly's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Just watching greyhound racing from Wimbledon on Sky. The owners should hang their heads in shame, what was once a cracking stadium now makes Steptoe's yard look neat and tidy. -

Enjoyable meeting marred by a horror crash. Some great racing. Ht1 had all 4 back written all over it Peter Karger with an absolute storming win over Sam Masters. First time I've been to the launchpad since about this time last year and the stadium improvements are slowly coming together. Whoever decided to get rid of the 1st turn camber deserves a pat on the back. All you (D)Rye House knockers will be tucking into humble pie soon as they have a cracking little racetrack now. -
Oxford is a different situation as its a standoff between the owners and the council, i fear Swindon are pretty much on borrowed time,

British Semi Finals 2016
Triple.H. replied to EC Rides Again's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Haven't read the rulebook but I do believe if Matt Ford chose to drop Adam Ellis and Kyle Newman. he would have to run a 5 man team. Which I daresay is not allowed. Or replace them with lesser EDR riders. -

Sorry could you run that by me again -
Stupid post alertStupid post alert He was born in England so he's English or British. Maybe you should look back and see what the British did for your country and show some respect. As if our forefathers hadn't done what they did you wouldn't have a country to be proud of.
