Enjoyable meeting marred by a horror crash. Some great racing. Ht1 had all 4 back written all over it Peter Karger with an absolute storming win over Sam Masters. First time I've been to the launchpad since about this time last year and the stadium improvements are slowly coming together. Whoever decided to get rid of the 1st turn camber deserves a pat on the back. All you (D)Rye House knockers will be tucking into humble pie soon as they have a cracking little racetrack now. -
Oxford is a different situation as its a standoff between the owners and the council, i fear Swindon are pretty much on borrowed time,

British Semi Finals 2016
Triple.H. replied to EC Rides Again's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Haven't read the rulebook but I do believe if Matt Ford chose to drop Adam Ellis and Kyle Newman. he would have to run a 5 man team. Which I daresay is not allowed. Or replace them with lesser EDR riders. -

Sorry could you run that by me again -
Stupid post alertStupid post alert He was born in England so he's English or British. Maybe you should look back and see what the British did for your country and show some respect. As if our forefathers hadn't done what they did you wouldn't have a country to be proud of.

Photographic Memory you have RobSorry I've gone all Yoda -
Say Karger got injured (say a broken wrist ) not wishing injury on anyone. He's out for 2 months and Rye House sign/use a replacement do they have to reinstate him in the team or is that a get out clause. Maybe he can't even sign for another British team.

I daresay what the 2 riders say would be irrelevant to any Poole fans as the riders aren't Poole assets. Also the 2nd division has never mattered to them not even when they were perennial midtable contenders. Regarding CC111 if he did ride for Peterborough I could foresee a situation on a Sunday where his Polish team want him to ride so he misses a Peterborough match ttherfore getting a 28 day ban.

But not allowed to ride for a Friday night club.

The 2016 Speedway Best Pairs Cup
Triple.H. replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in International World of Speedway
Yes it is Gustrow, found a video on youtube earlier. I thought that the grooves from starting would cause mayhem when riders came round if they got caught up in one. Plenty of riders got caught out by shutting off before the finish line -

Which is the Germans track where the start/finish is right on the exit of turn 4 ? I watched a meeting online a couple of years ago and thought it very strange. -

Some old boy driving a truck stopped me by the car factory one day and showed me an invoice and asked for directions. He was well gutted as he'd driven all the way from Dagenham for me to tell him it said that the Cowley he was looking for was near Uxbridge -

I Like many people I suspect am blissfully unaware of the vast majority of drugs etc on the banned list. I certainly haven't a clue if Botox or similar drugs are on the list.I do know Botox isn't an Orally taken drug. I was educated at Oxford you know But not at the University or the Poly I went to the school of hard knocks followed by the university of life. -

Say he has had Botox or similar, maybe they're on the banned substance list. -
[quote name="PHILIPRISING" post="2773466" Also, the big problem that year was when the dirt was transported from the storage site to the Millennium it was pouring with rain and by the time it arrived was soaked. Nobody had the idea of covering it with homolgated tarpaulin while it was transported in an area which is well known for high rainfall. Seems to me that there needs to be a more common sense approach to preperation to hopefully prevent simple problems causing a PR disaster.

It may be worth contacting the company you've bought the tickets off to see if you can get them delivered to the UK if you know anyone they could be sent too. Or arrange to collect them on the day. Unless of course they can guarantee delivery to your home address before you leave. As you seem to be paying a Kings Ransom for delivery you would hope yours are sent out well in advance.
