In the old wooden main stand at Oxford people banging on the door at the bottom of the steps leading upto the referees box, mostly using language that would make a vicar blush.
And two mighty fine displays of the long lost art they were. Also as mentioned in an earlier post re TheFish shaking Fernando Garcia's hand after FG almost stuffed him. Proper racing with a little bit of over riding always makes for a spectacle as long as both parties understand the rules of the game
Gustix
The mighty Cheetahs of Oxford are taking an enforced sabbatical to allow lesser teams such as Coventry,Swindon and Poole get a few titles under their belts
Surely if they gift Cradley 4 points the authorities are letting down every club in the league
Due to the level they're at I would say a suspended fine (with a major B******g) and a point or two deduction would suffice.
I'd say with Mark Loram that as I believe he was married to Chris Louis sister (apologies if I'm wrong) and a close friend of Chris and suffered his career ending injury at Foxhall while riding for Ipswich that he's got a pretty good argument for getting in free.Maybe he sponsors or advertises and free entry is part of that deal.
it doesnt matter where the switch is
if Leicester with a blank canvas had built a racetrack, they wouldnt be worrying about refereeing decisions the'dve been worried about keeping the spectators full of food and beer
Surely the biggest problem at Beaumont Park is that with a blank canvas they failed to create a decent racetrack. Old and much talked over subject I know but if the track had been laid similar to Somerset I seriously doubt any of these problems would be arising
