  1. So they've told him he's sacked but they want him to do 1 more shift. If he doesn't ride he gets a 28 day ban. If that was me I'd be seeing a lawyer who specializes in employment law.
  2. After Fast Freddies results this season I can see an orderly queue forming
  3. Just read on Facebook that he has lost his battle with cancer
  4. I thought when they announced the team that Rye House were in with a fair chance of being in the end of season mix. By dropping Davey Watt and replacing him with Ricky Wells. Plus the performances of the rapidly improving Ellis Perks and a PL (elite) team having the common sense to give Robert Brandford a runout I'd say the Rockets if they avoid major injuries could win the league in their debut season
  5. That's pretty much the same piece I read on the SGB site If it's true TBH I'd say it's the correct thing to do for Adam
  6. Didn't the article on the SGB site say he had approached the promoter saying he was considering retiring.
  7. i sometimes think you should be running the sport on a day to day basis you know all the rules and stats and speak commonsense for those reasons you'd probably be black-balled
  8. Steve Davey Watt was generally woeful for us but he did put in a couple of good performances. Bit like Craig Boyce who always did well at Oxford till he signed for us Must've been the lack of a sea view affecting them I have no problem with riders having a run of bad form but once it's the norm they have to go. Rye House made the correct sporting and business decision when they dropped DW Ricky Wells scores have proved that I hope Davey goes onto have a happy life At least he rode competitively which is more than us keyboard warriors can say
  9. Auty has been good at Rye House the times I've seen him there
  10. Well said Shads Steve needs to take his blue tinted specs off now and then
  11. Maybe as Lewis Bridger is alledgedly having problems with his Revolution Team JRM engines. A deal could be worked out on a pay as you go type agreement to provide him with a Gerhard engine. The more he earns the quicker the engine gets paid off. Say 10% of his points money was the agreement. Be a good way of advertising their reliability and performance.

  13. Who knows but the ghost of Eddie Waring reckons you can have a guest for an UP and UNDER
  14. If one of the youngsters is Max Perry you could be in for a treat Haven't a clue how old he is but he makes Dan Bewley look like a Harlem Globetrotter but the young lad looked supersmooth at Rye House last saturday
  15. TBH only the very harsh would criticize Davey Watt for letting personal worries affect his racing/job. I've been there and I bet just about everyone else reading this has too. To me he looks like a spent force. desperate to get back to where he was but his confidence is shot and everything he tries. fails
  16. Paul Hurry coming out of retirement tomorrow
  17. Davey Watt might be available soon Poole could have him
  18. But not as much as James Sarjeant at the start Sorry I couldn't resist it
  19. I hadn't seen Ellis Perks ride since he was a lad having a spin at meetings his dad refereed I was mightily impressed last night at Rye House
  20. For a guy who's done so much for the club over the years it's a pity that the OP can't even spell his name correctly
  21. Watt needs dropping ASAP while Rye House have the points to play with. It's harsh but if you want to make the playoffs the managemant have to make the decision He looks totally out of sorts and is in the kind of rut he's unlikely to get out of.
