Not good for the particular sponsor who's name or company logo can't be seen though. As the riders coming to the start is probably the best opportunity for racejacket sponsors to be seen

I've just read on the Live Updates site that after a crash involving Kelsey Dugard and himself that Kelsey Dugard was excluded. Liam Carr spoke to the referee and said it was my fault and the referee amended the result accordingly IMO a fantastic gesture by young Liam may he be the first of many. Edited because my predictive text changes Dugard to Sugars

Apologies for taking this slightly off topic I've just read that Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has been awarded the Knights Cross of The Order of Dannebrog. This is a Danish Knighthood So have any of the countries speedway riders been honoured in this way or OBE etc if the Danes also have those type of awards

I remember the late Gary Ford and his team mate Sean Willmott having a big crash at Oxford while riding for Weymouth ? They both got up but their bikes were rather the worse for wear.
