Redcar Half Team V Glasgow Strong Team
Triple.H. replied to oldywonkenoldi's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
As Ellis Perks is missing the meeting to represent his country commonsense would say Redcar should be allowed a guest of suitable average. As the rules dont allow this maybe the Redcar management should lobby the BSPA for an amendment to the rule for next season. Admittedly it doesnt help today and might not affect Redcar in the future but for the greater good of the sport i think it would be good. -

Poole consider themselves the dogs test-icicles That's why they're always sniffing Though everyone should agree it's a very successful business model for them

Someone in Norfolk is no doubt wanting to ask What are the 39 steps -
So you want to sack me but also want me to put in a shift as you're in the doodoo Either pay a Kings ransom or I'll Google around at the back If the promotor/TM wants you out it's their choice PS I'm not Richard Hall I'm speaking hypothetically regarding what I would do if I was and what I would do in similar circumstances in any other job

So ride like an amateur Or like the ultimate professional I want £500 A race start money plus £100 A point
-
So they've told him he's sacked but they want him to do 1 more shift. If he doesn't ride he gets a 28 day ban. If that was me I'd be seeing a lawyer who specializes in employment law.

Poole Pirates Vs Rye House Rockets 10/5/17
Triple.H. replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I thought when they announced the team that Rye House were in with a fair chance of being in the end of season mix. By dropping Davey Watt and replacing him with Ricky Wells. Plus the performances of the rapidly improving Ellis Perks and a PL (elite) team having the common sense to give Robert Brandford a runout I'd say the Rockets if they avoid major injuries could win the league in their debut season -
That's pretty much the same piece I read on the SGB site If it's true TBH I'd say it's the correct thing to do for Adam
-
Didn't the article on the SGB site say he had approached the promoter saying he was considering retiring.

i sometimes think you should be running the sport on a day to day basis you know all the rules and stats and speak commonsense for those reasons you'd probably be black-balled -
Steve Davey Watt was generally woeful for us but he did put in a couple of good performances. Bit like Craig Boyce who always did well at Oxford till he signed for us Must've been the lack of a sea view affecting them I have no problem with riders having a run of bad form but once it's the norm they have to go. Rye House made the correct sporting and business decision when they dropped DW Ricky Wells scores have proved that I hope Davey goes onto have a happy life At least he rode competitively which is more than us keyboard warriors can say
