Liam Carr spoke to the referee and said it was my fault and the referee amended the result accordingly IMO a fantastic gesture by young Liam may he be the first of many. Apologies for taking this slightly off topic I've just read that Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has been awarded the Knights Cross of The Order of Dannebrog. This is a Danish Knighthood So have any of the countries speedway riders been honoured in this way or OBE etc if the Danes also have those type of awards

As Ellis Perks is missing the meeting to represent his country commonsense would say Redcar should be allowed a guest of suitable average. As the rules dont allow this maybe the Redcar management should lobby the BSPA for an amendment to the rule for next season. Admittedly it doesnt help today and might not affect Redcar in the future but for the greater good of the sport i think it would be good.
