  1. Where are the loose and desperate women in Burnham ?Asking for a friend
  2. I've just run around the corner from the pub to the seafront at Burnham I'd be drier if I'd gone for a swim
  3. If they're going to call it off they need to do it before they let anyone in. The BSPA should be well aware of the debacle that follows every late call off. If it is on with gates opening later than stated people also need if possible to have the right money in their hand instead of getting their wallet/purse out at the turnstile fannying about counting loose change up In your dreams mate it's lashing it down at the Oaktree !!!. Why did you go there so early
  4. I'd say they need to get the covers off ASAP after the rain stops. Get the covers off and if rain has caused patches try and grade it. Maybe if track looks a bit sticky let each pair out for a lap or 2 Also the possibility it's not even raining at the track even though it is here.
  5. Looking out of the pub window the rains coming in nearly horizontal
  6. Didn't they cover the track yesterday ? It'll all depend on how much rain we get after the covers come off as to if it's on or off.
  7. Rains a bit heavier now I'm getting wet in the pub instead
  8. Just got to Burnham in Sea Spitting with rain and windy Doesn't look like they've had much rain as roads and pavements are dry
  9. Seems ironic that SpeedwayGB put a video on their site of Chris Holder racing on a TR and the commentator saying its the best race of the night
  10. So what did the other rider who missed 2 races on the 2 minutes say ?If a rider doesn't consider a track safe just Pootle around at the back. Just like when riders aren't being paid all they have to do is refuse to sign the form saying they have been
  11. Darcy Ward is probably the exception to the rule regarding diet and fitness I obviously haven't a clue about how healthily he ate or if he ever went to the gym. I'd hazard a guess they weren't top of his priorities but I do believe he could've been the Senior World Champion and very likely a multiple one. I can say for a fact in the 40 odd years I've been watching the sport he was the most naturally gifted I've seen.
  12. If it's wet on the outside it's always best to get wet on the inside too
  13. I wouldn't trust Mr Osbourne as far as I could drop him off a block of flats
  14. At least we'll all spot you about the city centreI'm guessing you'll be the guy in the Cradley t-shirt with the black eyes
  15. Didn't they have a problem as it was a migratory route for some rare breed of bird
  16. Tony Briggs went to Millfield as far as i remember, admittedly he didnt get to the top but was just hitting a decent run of form when he had his career ending crash
  17. As I just heard on the radio that it's happy black country day I wish you luck
  18. Doesn't read like that to me.You look at any sport or job winners have a far more focussed mindset.
  19. If you want a 3rd person in the studio give the job to Nigel Wagstaff Often and mostly unfairly derided on the BSF A former promoter who upset a lot of the old school with his ideas, a lot of which are now part and parcel of the sport. Also an articulate guy
  20. Has he said this in the media ? If not I personally don't think you should be publicising what he may have said in a private conversation
  21. It would kill off the already on its knees dying art of team riding. As a more mature fan on the odd occasion I get to see team riding I really enjoy it
  22. If it had said 208 instead of 329 he could be the greatest Luxembourg rider ever
  23. Should Scott Nicholls be allowed to ride at that age ?
  24. I reckon as a diehard supporter you should go as it ain't going to be easy to see your team in the flesh for a while.
