  1. Len has always done early call offs as far back as I can remember. Sometimes it's the wrong call but it's better IMO than getting everyone there and then calling it off. Only so many times you can handle the forum melting down. If it's called off and the forecast is wrong everyone moans. If it's match on and forecast correct so match gets called off everyone moans.
  2. Which is exactly what a rider should say to the referee if he got excluded. So both my wheels crossed the whiteline. Which one is the whiteline for this meeting
  3. Considering so many of his peers like to have a dig about Nicki Pedersen I found it heartwarming that they allowed him to be their spokesman and all in agreement with his concerns.
  4. I'd hazard a guess he's been there more times than you can shake a stick at Mark Where do you watch Speedway ?
  5. But it's a lovely stiff middle finger to the Polish Authorities who think they're the centregreen of World Speedway.
  6. TBH with this much notice BSI should be contacting the relevant train companies to see if they can get them to run later trains North, South and East
  7. Saw him spannering at Kings Lynn a couple of weeks ago. His arm looked well mangled. As you say it must hurt like hell when it's cold. IMO got to be a bit nuts to ride. Fairplay to him though he's got bigger balls than me.
  8. Bloody Hell That was one hell of a lot of rain in 10 minutes
  9. My 1st visit to Redcar What a great little racetrack, you lucky people. Nice to see the hand of friendship offered to the children from Chernobyl and getting them on the centre green for a dance. Redcar promotion you get a big thumbs up from me Onto Scunthorpe tomorrow. First time there too I hope the rain isn't as bad as forecast.
  10. Get yourself a welders helmet. Enjoyed the meeting, some good racing especially Robert Lambert in heat 7. No dust either. First time I've been to KL for about 25yrs. Now onto Redcar
  11. There's another football season between now and then.So they could be in the same division. But trust me now Cardiff City will not be at home on the 21st September 2019.
  12. Since the closure of Oxford the day out at Cardiff for me has become so much more important. It's not just about the Speedway which lets face it has only improved greatly in the last 6 or 7 years. The social aspect is very important.
  13. Steve as in a lot of your posts you manage to include some provocational bolleaux. I'd say crowd this year was a few thousand down . The minority sport of association football will knock a fair few more off as will even less accommodation being available. I already know of nearly 20 people who won't be going until they find out 2019/20 football fixtures in mid june. The only saving grace will be if it's the last GP and title still on the line.
  14. Cardiff highly unlikely to be at home. Doesnt matter what league they are in the authorities i suspect will ask for an away fixture that weekend
  15. Just looked and either they've updated the page or as I'm using my phone which is being painfully slow maybe I had a ghost image so part of another page over the main page. Should've took a screenshot at the time. It definitely said 21st September at 19:00
  16. Can't see the pair's at Somerset the night before either. As rumours of one big league how about my radical idea BSPA members who read this forum please sit down. My novel idea may scare the living daylights out of you. Belle Vue June/July a 3 day festival of speedway. Friday a 4s qualifying event to get it down to 8 teams Saturday Pairs Sunday 4s semis and finals
  17. Plus University rooms probably unavailable due to it being term time. It was brought forward to 5pm so you had a better chance of getting a train out afterwards.
  18. 7pm start too Unless it's the final GP it could be a big mistake IMO
