But you'll be dragged along screaming.TBH in my time supporting the Mighty Cheetahs(Rebels/Silver Machine) and Oxford United I can say most seasons haven't been the best. But the Black humour of the diehards and the belief that this season is the one. makes it a fun afternoon/evening out.

Scott Nicholls Not Allowed To Ride In The Championship?
Triple.H. replied to DC2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Nope, fair play to Prof Starman being a stickler for spelling and grammar. I like forum members who post with good PUNtuation -
Bet it would beInvolved as part of one of those algebraic equations seen in fuzzy black and white at 2 in the morning back in the early 80s on the open university being presented by a bloke who looked like he stalked the Vicars wife

May depend on what Scott Nicholls earns as a pundit for the GPs.

Just caught the end of a piece on former rider Tony Dart on Meridian News. Had his lower right leg amputated in 2008 and has now taken up sidecar racing. Only posting from my phone but hopefully someone may be able to find and post the link

I don't get the prejudging of Nick Morris. Improves every season Can do it from the gate and more importantly the entertaining way too. Though dropping the World Champion does seem pretty bizarre, think how much money you could make through the gates with clever marketing and promotion to offset his wages

Scott Nicholls Not Allowed To Ride In The Championship?
Triple.H. replied to DC2's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Oh you'll be up before an SCB disciplinary committee before you can blink for breaking the no common sense allowed rule I'd love to be involved in the sport and summoned to HQ for a dressing down where they say they'll throw the rulebook at me Just so I could say couldn't you use a concrete block it's smaller and lighter -

Daft bloody rule Of course he should be able to do CL I'm fairly sure fans of most CL club's would like to see him racing at their tracks. Think of the advice he can pass on as well -

Has Kevin Long just dropped the presenting due to his new job ? To me while a great presenter he's always come across as a fan too -

I'm only having a giggle as I'm sure you know.I'm guiltier than many when it comes to misspelling etc on any touchscreen device -
The outdated rule of not being allowed to vote for 3 years. What a lovely welcome to the top table for the Belle Vue promotion. I bet with the benefit of hindsight they regret not saying we'll put our necks on the line to dig you out of a hole BUT we must be allowed to vote on issues affecting our business.

Why have Leicester and Sheffield both got members on the management committee ?Surely that could give those clubs an advantage if there's a dispute So if the BSPA computer fixture planner cant find a workaround any clashes.May I suggest that one of them on the forum send a PM to SCB as he can probably knock up a suitable program in his lunch hour Apologies to SCB if he could do it in his coffee break

The Bsi As Seen From Pl
Triple.H. replied to PolskiZuzel's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Phil sorry to dig up old ground, but this has been done to death on here in the past. BSI love a success and the Kudos that goes with it. When it all goes T×ts up it's the fault of the local promoter.BSI are the rights holders it all boils down to being there responsibility. As I said a few years ago on the same subject look at F1 under Bernie Ecclestone he didn't suffer fools, as for every mistake a "local promoter" made his business could have suffered -
Surely the date of the AGM was known well enough in advance to prevent this happening. Or if unavoidable couldn't a deputy have been sent. Maybe the writing is on the wall for The Comets, if so very sad news. I know the promoter is unfortunately disabled but in this day and age couldn't a Skype link have been set up ? Tried to use my Clubcard in Pardubice about 20yrs ago The Danish league only ride now and then so with careful planning all should be ok
