  1. I don't know how tall Sam Nickolajsen was but when he retired he became a painter and decorator and had to have a special skirtingboard ladder made for him
  2. Geographically too far north was what i heard on the grapevine, also if it was nearer the sea away fans may make a day out of it
  3. Who's Danny May ? Is he someone in a position of authority within the sport, or just a speedway fan with a grievance ?
  4. Last weeks arrived saturday and this weeks today, only had a quick browse of last weeks so now have 4 days to catch up Happy Christmas to the team at the Star and i hope next year is a helluva lot easier for you
  5. Off Topic so i apologise in advance but Richard Juul is one brave boy to have comeback from his big crash at Oxford and return there and race again
  6. i've had no post for 3 days now which is very unusual, i haven't been working locally so don't know if my normal Postie is off, but its no hardship the Star will turn up tomorrow or monday. On the plus side all the presents have been wrapped instead of me reading
  7. Thanks for the replies, i remember seeing him race at Assen, fairplay to him for making a comeback at his age after those setbacks
  8. Is the Finnish rider at 16 the one who rode years ago or his son ?
  9. Blunsdon should be packed to the rafters, then
  10. They could speak with Fore other Clubs to help Iron out the problems. Wood ent it be good to see.
  11. How long did it take them to find a Driver Boom Boom
  12. To me that reads like you suspect Pinegen have that most hated of things an Indian Callcentre
  13. Yes it would be too far for a disabled person to walk with ease. If my memory isnt playing tricks i'm sure theyve used a shuttlebus for previous big meetings at the stadium. They always use shuttlebuses for the OUFC games. Maybe with options of online booking for meetings, a parking space can be reserved at the same time with priority given to those who need it most.
  14. Needs permission off the boss before he can answer
  15. Hopefully for those driving there will still be the option of parking at Unipart. Oxford United use it as an overflow facility for sellout matches
  16. I remember hearing Danny Baker talking about the New Den and saying a Feng Shui expert had said that Millwall's poor form was due to the way the stadium was positioned and having blue seats
  17. Mine arrived today. i've had a few late deliveries over the years as in the friday instead of thursday. Since April this year i've had a lot of friday/saturday deliveries, which in the current climate i'm not going to moan at the Royal Mail about. Had one missing copy, phoned on the tuesday and the replacement arrived on the wednesday. Very tempted to go digital for my next renewal, Do my bit for the planet and more cost effective for Pinegen i should think.
  18. i'm surprised how small the pits are at Somerset, If there was a way to alter the track entrance i think they'd be good on the patch of land on the second bend.
  19. Maybe the Star would be interested in piece to print over a few issues in the winter.
  20. Its a fair bit better than Daugavpils. If that doesn't win the forum understatement post of the year i'll be shocked
  21. If you go to the Save Oxford Stadium YouTube channel a recording of the interview has been posted. I tried to copy the link but cant get it to paste, maybe some copyright issue, or me not doing it right
  22. From todays Oxford Mail https://www.oxfordmail.co.uk/news/18871464.developer-sets-plan-regenerate-oxford-stadium-cowley/
  23. Hello Mr White Night Haven't seen any posts from you for a good while, hope you're keeping well in these strange old times
  24. If everything is as bad as this year but Elite Sportspeople and entourage able to travel. I'd suggest a GB double header Sheffield on the Friday. Belle Vue Saturday.
  25. You've answered your own question. If you took a drug that made you more relaxed you would be more likely to go for the ever decreasing gap.
