  1. Follow the lifesize cutouts of Frank Bough, his finger points the way
  2. I thought it was banned years ago. Don't the riders nowadays have the fuel supplied by the track running the meeting ? I remember plenty of rumours about one prolific tuner of the late 80s onwards where if you used his engine you had to use his fuel. May have all been led by jealousy of the speed by other riders
  3. Rerun of heat 18 after the exclusion of James Sarjeant for moving at the start
  4. The tyre is hologated so shouldnt need testing unless the FIM think the compound has been changed. As for a rider tied into another manufacturer. Tough either get on with it or break your contract and use the other tyre
  5. As this years competition is slightly different and certain gates at all tracks seem to have an advantage, why not for the next 3 rounds have a draw for day 1. After day 1 meeting finished whoever finished 16th has 1st choice of riding position for the following day, working your way upto the winner who has last choice.
  6. I agree with all that but as Bagpuss said in the post below yours the'yre racers they want to win. The difference between a World Final and a GP qualifier, is you're not going to do anything daft in a race to try and win, risking a fall etc when you know you've only got to pick up a point to be Champion.
  7. Why would he take a dive and risk damaging his bike or even worst injuring himself, Surely if he didn't want to qualify he would just pull an Elkins out of the hat.
  8. Why would a rider settle for a second place when they can get the win ?, A pity for Adam Ellis but just a racing incident, Just hope he's OK
  9. I you would have been more than a little disappointed if Sheffield had signed the other J.Holder
  10. Nothing wrong with being biased,he's your lad, so it's in the job description, you're justifiably proud of him It doesn't matter if he was first, last or middle of the pack choice for the GB spot. He's been offered and accepted it. At the end of the day its a very strange old season i can see why riders not racing regularly have turned it down. Some riders need 4-5 meetings a week to keep themselves sharp, others can survive on 1-2. But none at all is a hell of a lot of ground to make up for. Say for instance Bomber had been asked, and i don't know if he was, and accepted this forum would be melting down by now. In the wild and wacky way the British work they call for a youngster to be given a chance and then moan when they get given the chance. As far as i'm concerned good luck Adam
  11. Galvin was a very good and very entertaining rider.
  12. So it takes 7-8 years to develop a vaccine to prove theres no side effects etc and you think its OK for the Government to force people to be vaccinated with something not fully tested
  13. If he can learn anything from Lewis Kerr it will be resilience and mental toughness, the way he has bounced back[ no pun intended ] from some very big get offs. Shows he has them in abundance.
  14. Thought you would've known you must have been Laguta is God Fan on here, lets face it you've had more usernames than hot dinners
  15. Next week they'll be announcing you must wear a mask when shopping online.
  16. Great gesture of goodwill. Nice to see a big chain if it was part of one. To make an honourable decision. Also good advertising as if you have to book a hotel somewhere else there's a good chance that they will be top of your list .
  17. Cracking meeting tonight between Oxford and Swindon. Well worth a view whoever your team is
  18. Maybe they should start fully scrutineering bikes and then put them in a parc ferme, that could really level the field
  19. Like a skin on top and really soft underneath If only it had worked it would've been a dream topping Edit Gustix will be along soon to tell us about the closest track to Pudding Lane
