Capacity rules are made by the Government, half capacity or 4K whichever is lower, no doubt the Brighton match was one of numerous test events.

Could be a subject for Kelvin Tatum to have a chat about during a TV match.

Judging by some posts on here a few are struggling to cast the stream, so how many people who aren't on this forum are also struggling ? if a cable makes streaming work for them then it should be shouted from the rooftops as a simple fix for them to get there Speedway fix -

All you need is an HDMI Male connector to whichever connection is on your device HDMI, USB, Type C, or the Apple connector. Around a tenner from Amazon -
Isn't the Government guideline 4K or half capacity whichever is the lower, No doubt in the Rugby the players, management and physios etc count towards the 4K. Thats what happens at Football in stadiums with the 4K limit

I think the Council restrictions on when the track could be used have been a massive hindrance, lets face it its pretty much in the middle of nowhere with a motorway a couple of hundred yards away, so noise shouldn't really be an issue. As a Hackney fan i reckon you're probably at least 21 and a bit and able to remember like myself when the bikes were noisy, nowadays they're incredibly quiet in comparison. It's a sad loss to the sport, a great track. The Pairs along with the 4TT are my 2 favourite events in British Speedway, both always a good day out with entertaining racing

If the company who have bought it are not going to use it as a clubhouse, then I doubt it could be used as one on an adhoc basis one day a week. Maybe it will be offices, or a training centre for certain trades. Maybe she meant it's a no brainer to take the money offered for the clubhouse. IMO the Hancock family probably got fed up with working in the inner sanctum of a body that show so much ineptitude and self interest, instead of the greater good of the whole. Even though that body is way behind the current leaders in the I'm alright Jack World Championships The Cabinet If they've been offered silly money they'd be daft not to take it.

Warsaw GP 2022 Saturday May 14th
Triple.H. replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I don't know if Warsaw is promoted by IMG/BSI or a Polish promoter but i'd bet the new Series rights holders will run in Warsaw, it's a World Championship big city venues bring a bit of Kudos to the series. Why did Bernie Ecclestone want an F1 GP in London ? Because its a licence to print money. I'd be more worried about Cardiff going ahead, it ticks all the boxes for Promoter, fans, riders and the locals, fair enough the racing wasn't always up too much but it was the F1 GP in Monaco for speedway. Warsaw may have stole its thunder. I think we will see a GP at the Olympic stadium in London at some point in the next few years. -

I was off 6 weeks after having mine in march, still far from 100% now. At least i get paid and my manager who only took over a few weeks before i had the jab was very understanding. He said my sickness record proves i'm not pulling a fast one, last time i was off sick was 3 years ago which was almost a 10 year gap from the previous time and the one before that was 8 years -

Polish clubs will want to protect their interests, riding in another league or country increases the riders chances of injury or getting Covid-19 or one of its variants. Along with every country having a variation on rules re Covid. Keep them in Poland within social bubbles means less chance of infection, so their teams stay at full strength. Also If as it seems you have to pay for tests under certain circumstances when you come to the UK, will any rider want the additional hassle and expense of criss crossing Europe -

He's on a hiding to nothing calls it off early, some fans moan, call it off late some fans moan. Meeting abandoned after a few heats and loads of track work, some fans moan. Personally I think its better to make the call earlier and save everyone time and money. -

Not really,, more of a realist, When did he come back into Speedway when he bought Rye House again late 90s early 00s ? How many promoters have been and gone in that time ? People might not like him or his management style but to put it bluntly he must be doing something right -
How many ST holders do Edinburgh have ?

Len Silver has always as far as i know called meetings off early in the day if it doesn't look like it can go ahead. At the end of the day if the track has taken a soaking in the preceding days it's not going to take a lot more to make it unrideable. At the end of the day he's been a promoter for donkey's years and has probably forgotten more than some of us know about the sport, the riders seem to like riding for his teams as they all seem loyal towards him as he is to them. Maybe having an old fashioned business style and paying your riders on time is the way forward. -
Attendance Figures
Triple.H. replied to dontforgetthefueltapsbruv's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
There are lots of ticketing apps available, that generally charge 10% of ticket price as the booking fee, you get a bar/QR code sent to your phone. The organiser can scan the codes using there phone. Maybe the BSPL should have looked into getting their own App for all tracks tickets, then any profits generated by ticket sales will go to the BSPL. Or they could have linked up with one of the Ticketing apps and offered them lots of promotion of their Brand over the season. -

Isolating ? I can't see it being Visa or Work Permit issues as surely with our Country's strict and scrupulous immigration policy, especially since the advent of Covid-19 they wouldn't be in the country
