You have to remember presenting and commentating are pretty hard things to do, nevermind having a clear voice and knowledge of what you're talking about.. Try and make a 90 second speech without hesitating or umming and ahhing, while someone is garbling away in your ear about this and that.

Olympic stadium worst than Wembley for local amenities, its a fair old hike from the shopping centre where there are a few bars and restaurants, Also afterwards its a long slow walk back to the underground, all very well organised but you walk in circles so access to the stations is limited on numbers.

Ant and Dec presenting the football then

I've never met Lee Kilby but from what i know of him, i reckon if Swindon closed down and had to restart from scratch and run NL in a farmers field in Lydiard Millicent, that's where he would be, doing his best to promote the club and generate sponsorship. He is like his father a Swindon boy through and through. I don't even know if there are farmers fields in Lydiard Millicent, i just saw the name on a signpost when i was out that neck of the woods one day

If Disney buy it we can probably look forward to them showing Ice Speedway as long as they can persuade Scott Nicholls to dress up as Princess Elsa to present it

Are you going to challenge RG to a match race on mopeds when the Diamonds are in town ? Its daft ideas like two people old enough to know better racing around on mopeds that would add to the evenings entertainment, far far better than watching tractors going round and around -
i saw someting on the TV a fair few years back where a Welsh politician said that every event, rugby, football, concert etc at Cardiff boosts the local economy by £10 million. So if the Welsh Government or tourist board were pumping £160K into holding the event, to me that makes good business sense. No doubt some of the overseas fans will also make a bit more of a holiday of it and take in some of the Welsh scenery thereby boosting the economy elsewhere in the country. Wembley would hopefully be a great venue, the biggest problem being there's not a lot there for pre and post meeting entertainment. Though on the comcourses around the stadium there is plenty of room for pop up bars and food outlets, Could even have a couple of stages set up on opposite sides of the stadium and have a bit of live music. Of course anyone who thinks Cardiff is dear for a hotel won't be happy with London prices. An enterprising promoter would contact Chiltern Railways at the earliest opportunity and before event announced to ask if they could alter the timetable so all trains stopped at Wembley, and put a few late trains on heading to Birmingham, to actively promote fans to travel in on the train. Sounds daft i know but when Oxford got to the JPT final a few years ago, with 6 weeks notice they had changed the timetable, laid on a few extra trains and made sure absolutely everyone was aware of the groupsave option. Hence the trains were busy and the roads around Wembley a fair bit quieter. No doubt a very good way to promote their line as a cheap and quick route into London for future days out.

Yes, also get Sky Atlantic etc

I've had BT for a few years now and sometime last year, when they could add on the full Sky Sports package i took the upgrade, earlier this year i received an email saying they were now able to show Eurosport again, which i get free as part of my deal. Maybe you should contact BT and see if they can add Eurosport to your deal and how much it will cost, mentioning all the longstanding customer etc.

All you should need dependent on phone is a HDMI to type C, or whichever connection your phone has for charging, cable to connect phone and TV, Change source on TV, though you may need to set up mirror image on the phone, YouTube is your friend for the video masterclass in doing this if no primary school aged children available. I bought a cable from Amazon for £8.99 and it works with both my phone [Samsung] and Chromebook

I reckon the IOW should have called the meetings they are running, Zuzel, most of those who follow speedway would know what it is, those that don't may have been intrigued by the unusual name, hopefully intrigued enough to pay a visit

Watching Magpie for a glimpse of Jenny Hanley, no doubt

Hopefully a fair few of us Oxford supporters will be taking the opportunity to dig our passports out and go abroad again to see a team representing the Cheetahs, Thanks to Barry and Martin for laying on the entertainment for us.

i'm sure it said the new owners of the clubhouse were in a completely different business and wouldn't be running it as a hospitality venue.

I doubt if they would have a meltdown, they've come a long way since the fence scraping antics of the young touring teams of the 70s and 80s -

You are a top fan of your club, not having a dig at any fan of any club, but i bet there are many who wish if they could arrange time off and finances that they could follow your lead. I hope the riders and management, and also those of the opposition acknowledge your support at every meeting.

If it proves to Newsteam when they've cocked up. Like i said on an earlier post about confusing street numbering and layouts along with SatNav that takes you to somewhere 200 yards away. The delivery person may think he's delivering to 5 Daffodil Drive but in reality he's delivering to 5 Alpha Avenue. Lets be honest they probably have different delivery agents on certain days, maybe a high turnover of staff too. Also if you've driven somewhere a couple of times you wouldn't use SatNav so the same mistake would happen over and over again. Also could you not check with other publishers to see their figures for non delivery with newsteam if others have the same issues and similar percentages of non or missed deliveries, Then a united effort from say 10 publishers will carry more clout than 10 seperate complaints, which they can downplay as training issues etc. Only other way would be to offer 2 tier subscriptions if you wish to have Royal Mail delivery then you pay £X more per year, I bet if you had the figures upto end of 2019 missed/non deliveries were similar to Newsteam. Royal Mail delivery problems have only been a much bigger problem in the last year, we all know its an issue that should'nt happen but its been a funny old year
