  1. You have to buy online, even at the door. I don't know if ticket prices go up at midnight tonight for this meeting. If they do then you save money buy buying before midnight. The weather forecast isn't too good but it's glorious sunshine in Oxford.
  2. You don't need a smart TV to see BSN on TV. Just get a cable to connect tablet/computer/phone to the TV. I got a type C usb to HDMI cable from Amazon for a few quid and works a treat. Unless of course you're upgrading your TV anyway, then obviously a Smart TV is the way forward
  3. No doubting your loyalty to the cause. Though I hope you have a miserable trip resultswise. COYC
  4. Why's it a fight to get a refund ? I had an email within 30 minutes of the call off saying tickets are valid for the rerun next wednesday or to contact them on the email address supplied for a refund, doesn't seem a fight to me. Maybe you're sponsored by Spear & Jackson so have a new shovel to have a dig with.
  5. Dates confirmed as wednesday 11th september Oxford host the first leg, friday 13th september second leg at Scunthorpe. Tickets onsale for wednesday with a bonus for the first thousand bought https://oxfordspeedway.club/2024/09/dates-set-for-play-off-semi-finals/
  6. You come across like the secret lovechild of Lagutaracingfan and Gustix or any pairing of their numerous pseudonyms
  7. I'll browse what i want, without being rude to other forum members. If you think you're being slagged off i'd suggest that you need to grow a pair.
  8. That's not a very nice way to talk about a long standing and valued member of the forum.
  9. Congratulations to you and the rest of the team, as a full pass holder i think BSN is a great product and excellent value for money
  10. If you did a bit of research of PL matches you'd find Mr Nicholls can still mix it up at that level too.
  11. IMO Sam Masters as No.1 getting a maximum is more or less whats expected in every match, Connor Coles is expected to pick up 2-3 points, he did far better than that.
  12. If he doesn't he'll no doubt get a 28 day ban, why not wait and see what actually happens instead of making presumptions.
  13. The crash occurred on Saturday I believe. Maybe the extra day makes a difference, The big question is, without knowing your job is Would your boss expect youto turn up and put in a shift if you felt well under the weather ? Would you bow down and sat yes sir no sir ? Saturday night once the adrenaline went off I bet he felt battered about, probably more on Sunday, felt a bit better Monday and even better today. Perhaps every rider who falls off should be banned from riding for a week.
  14. If you saw the video of the crash you wouldn't be wondering why he's not feeling 100%
  15. IMO the final should still have been rerun, doesn't matter which rider was excluded. Anything can happen in this sport, a fall or ef and its at least won on the track.
  16. We'll be inundated with posts by Poo fans now, especially one saying they're the only ones who travel and create an atmosphere.
  17. Heat 16 Podcast including an Interview with Henry Atkins. You'll probably need to download the BBC Sounds app I have to say BBC Radio Oxford are a Wonderful asset to sport in Oxfordshire, their coverage and podcasts are spot on. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/p0j9ps6j?partner=uk.co.bbc&origin=share-mobile
  18. Not having a dig at you, sorry if you thought i was. Soap was a 70s American TV series which was a mickey take on soap operas, the tagline was "Confused ? you will be" so very similar to the rulebook
  19. You make it sound like an episode of Soap Apologies if i'm showing my age
  20. Thanks So in tonights incident the referee got it wrong, as did the Berwick manager, will we be getting an SCB statement ?
  21. LK went back to the pits which isn't allowed. They were saying on the commentary that he moved before Scott Nicholls and Lasse Fredriksson. I couldn't see LK move, though the tapes pulled his front mudguard off. Stewart Dickson pointed out to the referee that he had returned to the pits. My questions for the rule book studiers is, how do you repair the bike on the track when all the tools and spares are in the pits ? Is it the rider or the bike not allowed to return to the pits ? Anyway it was a decent meeting and the Berwick fans got a last heat decider and a Superheat, they must have thought they were riding at Oxford. I think we missed our chance by not replacing Cameron Heeps with Scott Nicholls in heat 11, though CH was riding well, we needed to strike while the iron was hot.
