  1. 4TT announced for thursday 23rd october. Oxford vs Coventry vs Swindon vs Wolves. No riders announced yet, tickets on sale via the website £21 for adults U16's free. Car parking at Unipart £2 book parking when booking your tickets. https://oxfordspeedway.club/tickets/
  2. Considering you're one of the many Poole fans who say there's no pressure on Cairns. Why are you having a dig at him ?
  3. I'm pretty sure that there was a rule that new teams couldn't go straight into the top league.
  4. If they want Sprint races they should have them at every round.
  5. Organisation and a strong hand on the tiller, no rearranging matches because a rider is a reserve in the Timbuktu Open Championship.
  6. I reckon its one senior league and one junior league
  7. Last ever meeting for the Spires is what was said, not just once, but a fair few times. Confirmed after the meeting and in a tweet by BBC Oxford Sport.
  8. I'm about a mile SW of the track at 18:55 as if by magic it started raining heavily.
  9. I've never understood why on the occasions this happens that the team that has the riders points deleted. Every race concerned riders should be moved up a place and bonus points added into the averages.
  10. Oxford always do their best to try and get the meeting on. Theres many clubs IMO who could learn from Jamie Courtney and his approach to getting meetings on. Every team has more or less a 4 month season window from may to August when the weather is generally better and still teams have 2-3 week gaps in the fixture list.
  11. You could make a fortune renting them out on a match by match basis from your padded cell
  12. Oxford have managed 30 including the SRBF meeting between 23rd March and 25th August. The only home league fixture outstanding is against Leicester lwhich had been scheduled for last Thursday since fixtures released which was cancelled due to a waterlogged track.
  13. Why not try a bit of positivity and give the youngsters a bit of praise. It's no wonder so many of them jack it in.
  14. Maybe because meeting held under a PZM licence. It says if you're representing GB abroad your covered. Maybe it applies to all events and tracks under the jurisdiction of a National organisation.
  15. https://www.scbgb.co.uk/news.php?extend.221 Seems to be pointing out that you may need additional insurance at non BSPL events, if you get injured there is no entitlement to SRBF help and that you need permission from your club if you're attached to one.
  16. Mr Middleditch had a moan on social media, probably deleted by now
  17. That's what i'm getting at, plenty of people prepared to share a rumour but never the facts, figures and sources.
  18. Because all the forum experts, who speak in code to each other, are alledgedly in the know through conversations with riders, mechanics, promoters and team managers. IE speculating and guessing.
  19. Exactly this. Lots of posters here and on social media passing on the latest Chinese Whisper doing the rounds. Unless the poster is prepared to name the source etc they may as well not bother, it's like doing your GCSE maths and not showing your working out.
  20. But it was due to there being a second half of decent racing from some youngsters. Main meeting lasted about 30 minutes longer than usual by my reckoning. Not bad considering there were a few incidents and a longer interval due to the SRBF collection.
