Everything posted by Triple.H.

  1. Last season for a rainoff you got a refund. So I'm sure that will remain the same.
  2. The club have posted that all parking spaces at Unipart have now been booked.
  3. If anyone wants to see the current state of the stadium well that which can be seen from the camera position. Sky Sports Racing are showing Greyhounds from there tomorrow from 10:30am.
  4. Tickets for the match at Oxford go onsale at 5pm today https://oxfordspeedway.club/tickets/
  5. I think Kyle is one of those riders who does better when he has a packed diary, so riding one league only doesn't give him enough meetings to get going properly.
  6. Maybe hiring a stadium to run an event means you have to jump through a few more legal hoops.
  7. Dependent on how he comes back from his injury, a broken bone and long layoff can stop riders making a quick and successful comeback, for some its like a duck to water, some take a bit of time and a few never get back to what they were. I hope Dan is in the first group, if not the second, very talented lad.
  8. As Paul Bowen is an advocate of the electric bikes, would he be allowed to ride one in an NDL meeting ?
  9. Sad to hear Tony Mole isnt in the best of health, the man's a legend for the tracks he ressurected/kept running over the years
  10. I read somewhere a few days back that someone said all he does is give them the 6 digit code Assigned to the ticket which the staff have input to allow entry. Just checked some old tickets on my account and the 6 digits seem to be 4 letters and 2 numbers so you would have to make a very lucky guess to give them the right code.
  11. I did it all last season for a mate of mine and a few other people on an adhoc basis. This year as soon as STs were announced my mate asked if I'd get him one.
  12. You obviously live in the only part of the country where banks are opening branches
  13. All I've gone on with is that what it says more or less is that tickets are available on the day subject to availability and a price increase from the advance price. Just copied and pasted the bit from the website. 2023 Pay On The Day Ticket Prices – Online Pay On The Day E-Ticket Oxford Cheetahs Matches – Adults 16yrs+ £22 – Accompanied Children Under 16yrs Free Oxford Chargers Matches – Adults 16yrs+ £14 – Accompanied Children Under 16yrs Free The mention of E Ticket suggests its buy through the website
  14. You can pay on the gate but it costs a bit more and is payable by card. I said last year that I was amazed that the stadium isn't card only for everything. You might like to use cash but lots of places are going card only. Banks are few and far between nowadays so banking the takings is a pain in the neck.
  15. Daft idea alert, bit too late to implement this year but maybe the promoters in all 3 leagues get together and agree to charge £1 entry for press and practice, with all proceeds to the Benevolent fund in forthcoming seasons.
  16. I'd hazard a guess it will be Scott Nicholls for the Cheetahs and Jordan Jenkins for the Chargers.
  17. BWD posted on social media that even though he hadn't ridden more than a few matches here since 2018/19 his CL average had increased and was now too high for teams to take a gamble on him. So concentrating on Grasstrack, i guess until a team think he's worth a run in the team
  18. Think you need to recalibrate your AA roadmap
  19. But on a less serious note are the management committee going BATTY about NORA.
