  1. Why did Ashton Boughen withdraw from the meeting ?
  2. If you go onto the British Speedway website the match preview usually has the link for the livestream or if its on TNT. They also have a bit where it gives the forthcoming stream links.
  3. For a fairly prolific poster you don't seem to be very clued up on what's happening.
  4. In last weeks Speedway Star, Scott said its June at the earliest that he can return and that he will not return until the shoulder is ok and he is fit and ready to hit the ground running. So how long do Oxford wait ? Do they delay all CL fixtures till late in the season in the hope Scott is ready ? Or beg the authorities to allow a 6 man team and RR/guests until he is fit to return ?
  5. Have to take into account that at the end of last season he was hospitalised after crashing in the U19 final. A rider can do countless laps of practice, but until you're lined up with 3 others in a match situation you don't know how you'll react.
  6. You have to enter by the Savanna restaurant entrance to access the lift, its opposite the stadium carpark entrance gate.
  7. A Heatleader last year A Reserve this year. Admittedly in a team built around strength in depth. If you asked a man in the street who knew nothing about Speedway that you build a team like in American Sports to equal strengths. Your team has 7 members, one of your team was a top 3 rider at the start of last year but a bottom 2 rider this year. I daresay they'd say he's on the slippery slope. As we all know Speedway is a bit different. I hope Bomber does well, not many finer sights than when he's on it. The problem I see for KL, as with all built in strength teams, is injuries, they have a couple of injury prone riders, they can cover with RR if everyone firing. But if they need replacements it becomes a problem as it can be 2 or 3 out to bring 1 in.
  8. It ain't They said Monday night next meeting is the Championship Pairs.
  9. Do King's Lynn stream their meetings ? If they do does anyone have a link please, TIA
  10. I'll put a fiver on that being the reason he's not riding in it
  11. You can pay on the day but you still have to buy online. You also have to prebook parking at Unipart.
  12. Heard a rumour today, probably bolleaux, but one prominent poster will be happy if true.
  13. I don't know if they do have separate queues for card/cash payments. But surely that's the way to do it. I've been in so many queues at Speedway where people get to the front of the queue then fanny about trying to cobble together part of the entrance fee in small change. It's not like they don't advertise how much entry is.
  14. EE are providing BT broadband so you may get TNT as part of the package
  15. I'd not heard of it either, their website mentions small business start ups. https://www.zemplerbank.com/ As for the fence, I cannot see an easy way to make it safe, maybe an upsidedown L shaped foam barrier that slotted over the upright steel bars and also covered the top of the concrete.
  16. Max Fricke and Maciej Janowski announced. Tickets on sale later today Tickets are £25 each Accompanied U16 free entry
  17. I'd guess as car parking has to be booked and paid for in advance, that it will be online only, including at the gate.
  18. Could be a possibility of it selling out. Early season meeting with a good lineup at a track with a very big catchment area.
  19. Maybe they could follow the second worst scenario and have challenge matches against available teams in both NDL and NDT. Even if they were only Home fixtures for Mildenhall as the opposition couldn't fit a meeting in. Then after a season of challenges they move into NDL/NDT in 2026 in whatever way that level of the sport pans out. Obviously the worst scenario is not running.
  20. https://www.racingpost.com/news/britain/entain-chief-executive-to-step-down-with-immediate-effect-after-less-than-six-months-in-the-role-asAEM5D7YI1Y/ Maybe a new Chief Executive will have different ideas.
  21. Just an idea, if it doesnt cause conflict with the current tv deal is to get BSN and the various tracks own streaming services to compile a 50 minute or so weekly show. Hawk it around the terrestial channels and see if anyone bites. I've said 50 minutes as this would allow time for advert breaks to fit an hour slot.
  22. Can't beat a bit of positivity I can't say nothing about R.E.D. campers as I've not been in the market for buying one. But if I was up in that neck of the woods and needed a new tyre I'd be heading to STS due to the amount of times I've seen their logo on various riders racesuits etc. Embrace sponsors of every club.
