  1. This is Speedway, even the FIM are still on back of a fag packet ideas
  2. He's always too busy on the telly to go to the gigs
  3. If you're over 60 and have or buy a railcard, you shouldl save more than the card costs, with the rest of the 12 months to save more if you decide to use the train again. Same discounts with Two Together and friends and family cards. The Trainpal App generally gives you a discount on the cost of the card so you get it for £27 approx instead of £35 for a year. Plus it gives you an additional 5% off your first booking. Moneysupermarket is the place to look for the discount codes. This week i'm going to London for £13 return, next week i have another trip to London booked for £7.85 return. Standard return price without a railcard is £37. I also got an Oystercard as I go to London fairly often, I've linked the railcard and oystercard so I get 1/3 discount on off peak public transport in London. https://www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/railcard/
  4. Since the reopening Oxford have held home meetings on each day of the week.
  5. Maybe because when the fixtures were announced nobody knew the rider selections, venues or dates
  6. I'm sure they have considered various permutations, as i said in my earlier reply, ask your promoter what would they do if they were the hometeam.
  7. You obviously think everyone transports around like in Star Trek. Why not ask your teams promotion what they would do if the fixture was at Poole, my guess is they'd do exactly the same. Look at your esteemed fellow fan Mr Shovlar, he moans about clashes when AFCB are playing.
  8. Unless he was signed off on monday by the medics, surely it becomes a non speedway injury, or illness
  9. All the relevant details to login to HBO Max for free if it's included in your TV subscription is on the HBO website
  10. IMO if Poole have arranged this fixture knowing that Richard Lawson has a prior engagement then they should only be allowed to use RR or a non CL riding NDL rider. That's not me being Anti Poole, that's me being a realist. There are plenty of other free dates when the fixture could be arranged for. Using Bomber with no disrespect to him, on current form makes Poole weaker, so that's 15+ for Bomber on the night.
  11. SF postponed now being staged at Leicester on sunday 19th July 2pm start
  12. Luke Harrison and Cooper Rushen are in different semifinals. Will Cairns also rides at Debrecen, maybe travel from Hungary is easier than Czechia.
  13. You'll be asking next if the GP is on screensport
  14. Is it too hard to scroll back a few posts, or even look on the Workington website or social media pages ? No wonder just about everyone hates Poole. It's not the Team or promotion it's the fans who're stuck in their own small World.
  15. The 49p per mile probably includes a very small percentage of Tax, Insurance and maintenance on top of just fuel costs.
  16. https://oxfordspeedway.club/2026/06/preview-oxford-chargers-take-centre-stage-at-the-betgoodwin-oxford-stadium-against-kings-lynn-young-stars/
  17. Just a guess but maybe the Berwick meeting has a different time constraint as it was moved due to the original BSN meeting vs Plymouth having to be postponed due to the stadium issues.
  18. In very poor taste IMO. I actually liked Mr Shovlar's post where he criticised your original post.
  19. Sorry, I should have worded it better, I didn't mean going away with the wildcard picks. It would still be 4 from the challenge. Two of the wildcards for 2027 are already picked in Dan Bewley and Fast Freddie, unless Freddie is back soon and gets into the top seven.
  20. I'm sure they'll have Danny King on speed dial if his average still fits
  21. Apparantley CL fixtures have to be arranged for within 28 days, As Klindt wasn't in the Redcar team at the start of the season, last wednesday wasn't a problem for Redcar to confirm earlier this year. Wright's injury has upset the applecart and Redcar have ended up with a Danish no.1 at a time of the season when the Danish league is in full swing.
  22. I'm firmly in the 15 GP riders aren't in the qualifiers, the ones outside the top seven take their chances in the GP Challenge, which should be after the last GP. Get rid of the safety net. Everyone moans in the GP you can qualify for the LCQ with 6 or 7 points and win the meeting. If 4 current GP riders qualify from the challenge you'll have someone on 6 or 7 in the GP next year. I'd also say only GP positions of 8-14 of the permanent GP riders go to the Challenge, if your 15th. Tough,
