  1. Fantastic night for the Legend, good luck jason, thanks for the memories.
  2. A bit of a strange meeting, entertaining with all the falls, thankfully nobody got hurt, start marshall a complete prat, different bloke to normal. Jensen deserved the win looked the best man on the night and good to see young Kyle newman amongst the points. shame about the track, would probably have been called off, if it was a normal EL meeting.
  3. Nl fours on the same day at Stoke, some of the riders might not be available. NL fours involes a major trophy for that league.
  4. Great meeting, sadly our rider Bjarne isnt up to this standard of racing, very poor show. Great win for Holder, what a great final race.
  5. Yes, Thanks we were just about to leave and checked the websites, well done.
  6. Went to this, looking forward to it. But came away disappointed, slow meeting not much racing. Coventry cant run this sort of meeting anymore, I go back to the Charlie Ochitree days they need to start earlier if they have more than 20 heats. Its a long day if you have to get up at 6am for work and dont get home till 11.30pm didnt bother staying till the end the Semi final crash did it for me, just got up and left. Will have to think good and hard about going to anymore individuals at Brandon.
  7. As one of the traveling supporters, I quite enjoyed it, some good racing, shame about Neathy, hope he is ok. Good crowd, got there early so got our fish and chips, Ive never heard of a speedy bar running out of booze before, very strange. I thought the short track was rubbish didnt bother watching the final, we were thinking of going to one of the meeting wont bother now. Well done to Doolan, Allen and Frampton looked good as well, some rider that Nelson, thought Bridger was rubbish. last one of the season for us, roll on 2012.
  8. The prat at wolverhampton take some beating for being an annoying twit.
  9. I enjoyed the meeting, despite the cold, thought the track held up well over the 20 heats and Hougaard was a good winner. What happened to the start line girls them ?.
  10. For those birmingham supporters who didnt bother going you missed a cracking meeting, some close racing and a last heat decider. Its a shame you have to travel sixty miles up the road to watch your team, when we have a stadium on the doorstep doing nothing.
  11. Id really miss Buxton if it closed, I havent been able to get up there as much as i did in 2010, but plan more meeting there in 2012.
  12. one of my favorite tracks buxton, not very warm very often, but Ive seen some good racing there over the years. Surely rain offs go with the sport, some you win some you dont, at this time of year its a lotto, I had 10 meeting lined up between now and the end of October, expect to get to about six of them , Lost one last night at Stoke, Leicester the next one on Friday, hope its on and they re-arrange the Stoke meeting for next week or its rip off speedway at the ELRC. You do a good job at Buxton Jayne, dont let the buggers get you down.
  13. Golden gauntlets, what great meeting they were, Autrey thre times winner, yes they should change it to the gauntlets.
  14. Well done to Greg, but thought this was the most boring GP Ive seen for a while, hope the next one is better.
  15. Pathic, can get a seven man team for a challenge meeting.
  16. First visit to Buxton today for this season, enjoyed the meeting, cant stand this stupid Tac ride rule. A team builds up a useful lead over a number of heats to get it wiped out by the tac ride, it cost Buxton 2 points today, worked it out when I got home, if heat 11 had been a 2-4 instead of 2-7 to the stars, buxton would have won by 46-44. The sooner they get rid of it the better. All in all a good meeting some close racing, the usual falls, a bit of rain and sunshine, will be there again soon.
  17. Looking forward to this one, first meeting at Buxton this season for me, hope its a good one.
  18. It still dosent make it right, you pudding, no matter what the sport, cheating is cheating, stamp it out, speedway has had a lot of bad Press this season. Its time to show the world we dont mess about with cheats and get some credit back.
  19. If Eddie is guilty, its a great shame for the lad, always liked the way he rode. If found guilty, his points gained from this silencer, which he recently changed to, should be looked at and the points taken away from him, all winnings returned to the club and be banned for life.
  20. They have still got to get past the dreaded planning stage
  21. I think it should be the top seven in the league by a certain date and the Lions as they are hosts, seems fair to me. Got to agree used to like the qualifying rounds, me and my Brother went up north a couple of times in the eighties so that we could get all the northern tracks in, damn good time and 4 tracks in as many days, happy days.
  22. I havent been this season yet planning my first visit on Sunday, but last season I saw some cracking meeting, went to the last 4 of the season and the track looked ok then. Looking forward to sunday, hope its Ok.
  23. Not a bad meeting, well impressed with Sargeant, best Ive seen him ride, shame about Isherwood and Reade, good performance from the other memebers of the team. Some of the Tigers riders look good but Stoke wanted it more, well run meeting and no messing about, only went to see how hargreaves was looking this season, ex-Brummies as he is, had a good go in his third ride, getting the win and came home behind his team mate in his first, but looked down on power.
  24. Back in the old days of one off world finals, one of the German finals, I think it was Munich, they had the local police motorcycle team doing a display this was one of the best things I have ever seen at a speedway event. Are the white helmets still about or the imps, entertainment with a capitol E.
