  1. See I knew we wouldent lose, see you wednesday when we take 4 points off you and then move onto Swindon and pluck that bloody robin, Rosco will cry. Come on you BRUMMIES.
  2. I cant bring the moped its out on loan at the moment to Eddie Kennett, hope he leaves the exhaust alone. Dont know what you mean Moorski, so you dont think we can win? What play off final, cant remember that, remember us topping the league, then its all just a blur. Was it on theTele, must have been watching Morse or something.
  3. Toughie this one, I know they won on the Tele the other night but it didnt look a very impresive performance from some of the Pirates, plank walkers by the looks of them. We dropped some points on Wednesday to a very good team in Kings Lynn, but the Cov supporters came full of confidence and went away sting less, not saying we will win but I feel it will be a lot closer than last week. A draw would do me, last heat decider, it was amusing last season watching Holder team riding and to taken by both the Brummies riders in the last heat and it was on the TV as well, highly amusing watching him slink over the line not knowing what had happened to him. Brummies by 4 points, bring it on, we fear nobody, bring your supporters for a treat of last place team riding by some of our lot. Come on you Brummies.
  4. Well that was interesting, we were rubbish and the only two who deserve praise are the older blokes in the Brummies line up, Skornicki and Nermark, King again didnt get his average, the reserves were out classed by there opposite number. Kennett sack him now and give barker another meeting to get above his average and if he dosent sack him as well. Its Poole next, bloody hell, hoping we get 35, see your there. Come on you Brummies Kings Lynn look like a team which could beat Poole this year, (if ford dosent do his usual shananagans) good luck to you and glad you all got home safe, thank you for spending money in our stadium, I know for a fact we lost two more supporters last night.
  5. Sun is out, looking good, bring it on, we fear nobody. Brummies to win by 15, Kennett 15 point max. God its hard work trying to stay positve with our lot.
  6. The onestop has a KFC and Mcdonalds well worth a visit, Zoo at Dudley, Mailbox is quite nice so Ive been told and the new libarary has just opened, that is wonderful so Ive heard, enjoy your day in our fair city.
  7. I hope you Stars supporters are going to bring a lot of tissues, when the Brummies give you a trashing, you will need them on the way home, they do have a lot of shops in the one stop, well it is a shopping centre. Brummies to get 50 plus, thats over the two meeting of course this one and the one later in the year. Please bring a lot of friends with its getting a bit lonely at Perry barr. I must warn you about the detour sign outside the stadium, that directs people into the stadium, this is just a ploy by the promotion to get people into the stadium, once there in they dont get out until theyve watched a meeting, no matter how much they beg. Everybodys welcome and I mean everybody, please come, please.
  8. Phil Morris retired from speedway racing because of an injury, he dosent ride any more, if he wanted to stay he would of, hes gone so can we get over it and carry on watching the fantastic brummies, who Im sure will beat the Stars by at least 10 points on Friday. Looking at both sides it seems to me that the Brummies have the stronger of the two, king is due a great meeting, Barker will do better than last week, that wont be hard, he only has to get another point. Skornicki is the new hero and due a 15 point max, Nermark up against his old team will want to do well can see at least ten from him, Kennett showed his style by getting the only heat win at Lakeside, so I can see a big night for the Banger man, hopes he brings the car. No Starke, so Im sure we will get a proper replacement to fill in and that lad will do well against the reserves from the Norfolk club and lambert will fulfil his rides with at least a couple of wins. The Stars what have they got, Bjerre, Iversen, Schlien and that untried lambert kid, come on its easy a win for the BRUMMIES, hang on the Butler has just come in with my pills, it looks like its time for a lie down. Come on you Brummies, easy, easy, easy.
  9. This will be tough, after the win over Coventry I thought we had turned a corner, but at Lakeside we went backwards. Would like to see a win, but no BB and Starke, RR didnt work at Lakeside, very very tough meeting. Might find it hard on the crowd as well, hope lots turn up but cant see it. Keep smiling. Come on you Brummies.
  10. As one of the few who travelled to Lakeside, that was a woeful performance by my team, the amout of times we gated and leading to be picked off by the Hammers was amazing, the only bright spot was Eddies win against Pk that even surprised us. It was a well run meeting and they got on with it, apart from a couple of stupid refereeing mistakes we could have got 25. Lakeside looked good and I cant see anybody beating you at home, best of luck for the rest of the season, the Brummies deep in the muck and looking like theres no way out of it. It was a long journey home last night and I feel we will have a lot of them this season, Poole and Swindon being the next two away meetings. Keep smiling, it can only get better, lets face it cant get worse. UP THE BRUMMIES.
  11. Well that was tight, dont want to many of those, all the riders upped there game, got what I expect from kennett two good rides on the night, Barker is a worry, world class in the 5 race, flapping about at the back in the others, needs to get back to the form he has shown over the last couple of years. Good racing, good night and nail biting finish, so glad we have won at least once and now onto Lakeside, what do you reckon all 4 points and first away win. See you there people.
  12. Quite enjoyed that, a great race in heat 4 between Lambert and Perry and again in heat 11 with Sarjeant, very windy afternoon but the rain kept off, a bit cold though, unusally there wasnt many falls on the 3rd/4th bend as you normally see. Well run meeting and with the threat of rain they got on with it, not the best meeting Ive ever seen but these lads give it there all, NL track record holder Max clegg 64.62s and Lambert retained the bronze helmet from Sarjeant, some EL clubs could learn form this level on how to run a smooth meeting, no faffing about just get on with it.
  13. As far as I know its still on, I was hoping to get the line ups, hopefully get some speedway in today.
  14. Bloody hell youve started this early, you could at least give us the weekend to get over the lakeside meeting, some of us are still in a daze. no idea what the score will be, probably use both Tac rides, probably wont get any points from it, hopefully we can get 40 points, Im making myself depressed now, I was looking forward to the weekend, probably spend it in bed now. Looked at the next lot of fixtures today, Cov wednesday, Lakeside away Friday, Kings Lynn good friday, no worries there it all rains good friday so itll be off, thats cheered me up a bit. Poole at home after that, then poole away and swindon away, somebody give me a rope. What can you do keep smiling.
  15. Lakeside, yea we will be there, can see a loss on the cards, hoping for a win, Im off the pills you know. Support your team no matter what, moan and groan, shout and boo, but be there to see them win or lose. just ask Reading, Oxford, Bradford or Newport supporters what they would give to have a team and just incase you have a short memory remember 1986 to 2006 with sod all to moan and groan, shout and boo about. Come on you Brummies, were coming, its time to fear us, time to hide away, time to cry when we take the points away, 23 I reckon. be there or be square. Ill be the one in the straight jacket.
  16. Do we know yet if the meeting will take place this friday, not that Im going but would like to see them have a meeting on before I waste my money again travelling to Brandon just for a drive out.
  17. Tough meeting for the Brummies, hoping for a win, need to start performing.
  18. The first place I saw speedway and the first rain off as well, many happy memories, Andy Grahame winning the brit final, first time there 1973 and never missed a year since then. Known some of the supporters for over 30 years, real mates, a great place to watch speedway and seeing martin Dugard as a wild card winning the brit SGP that year, happy days and huge crowds, all those great events, Saw all the best riders on there over the years. Such good days.
  19. Awful result, its going to be a long hard season watching the Brummies, please dont laugh when we turn up, it costs a lot to travel to away meeting. We have the delight of going to Lakeside next and watching the lads perform, hopefully with a couple other meeting under our belts by them and they will all be match fit and raring to go. Then your see the results coming in, then your fear us, you wont want to go to your home fixtures because the Brummies are coming(bring your calculators). Your promoters will have to re-mortgage there houses to pay for the points money your riders will build, up and down the land your hear the tales of woe from promoters, wishing Brummies were in the PL because they cant afford to pay there own riders. Yes were coming and were coming to lose, bankrupt the other teams and we will win the league, we will finsh above coventry as they wont have any home meetings, oh bugger they will probably beat us at home. Well Ive got to go now as two blokes in white coats have come to take me away, apparently its in the best interests of speedway, just time for a war cry give us a B, give us a R, sorry I cant remember the rest, feeling sleepy now, farewell there taking me to the ambulance, fear us we are coming Ha! Ha! Ha!.
  20. Back on subject, dont think we have any chance at Brandon, we look too weak in all departments, could change my mind if we do any good tomorrow night, hoping to get to Brandon and the rain stays away.
  21. hopefully a win but I fear the worse, Cook and Zager sharp out of the gate, Id settle for a draw at the moment, lets hope the weather dosent take this one.
  22. Well that was disappointing, not impressed with King, Kennett or Barker dispite the 6 pointer, Skornicki good win in his third ride, Nermark the best of the bunch, a couple of good wins and he can gate. Lambert struggled with the track which seemed strange as nobody esle did and Starke got a win, I fear its going to be a long hard season and no hope of the play offs, cant see us winning away at all, got Coventry and Eastbourne this week as well, bloody hell. Not to confident about tomorrow night either, on well it cant get any worse than bottom. Thought the track was well prepared and the meeting got along a good pace, see they can do it when they try, Wuffy looked good and pawlicki, you have a good one there, glad proctor got some points, felt he was shaffed by somerset and good luck to him. Keep the faith, we can only get better, well thats what I keep telling myself.
