Fantastic meeting and 100% effort from all the lads, really enjoyed that, but got a bit worried when they got the 5-1 in heat 14, but BB did fantastic to win the race beating that bloody dane. Come on you Brummies. -

As One of the Brummies supporters who went on monday, you all correct about Nermark, stupid move from a very experience rider who had the inside line and could have got past Stefan on the next turn but choose instead to fence him, no other word for it, stupid move that could have put the bloke in hospital. The best racing surface Ive seen at belle vue for a long time and thought you had a good crowd, not many Brummies there, but we aint getting many at home either. It was the usual frizzle at the end for the Brummies, thankfully your number one was of from or you would have got more. -
A true Brummies legend, missed by all of us, loved the Pl days.

Saw It all on eurosport, but it wasnt very good, hopefully it will be better next season, roll on Prague.

I feel the biggest problem in this instant world we know live in is the speed of the meeting, long, slow and big gaps between races, we had the terrible incident with Skornicki last week and the usual time spent, when the paramedic wasnt available, now I understand the need for the Doctor/paramedic to be with the injured rider, but wouldent it be better in these days to have two qualified medics at the track so the action can continue, there is nothing happening while the Paramedic is away to entertain the fans, even the bloke in the middle went walkabout (thats not a dig) and it was just the music and the bloke in the box thanking us for our understanding, but you can see people getting bored. The whole thing needs to be speeded up, keep the action coming, look at the SGP four heats, grade the track, four more heats and please can we get rid of the interval, if you grade the track it gives people enough time to go to the loo, track shop or get something to eat and drink. Can I add before I get lynched Im not having ago at the Paramedics or the St johns people, but this has been going on for years and it never seems to be sorted, speed everything up.

Coming up for this one, looking forward to it, can see the Brummies getting at least a point to take home. Our sharp gating side will make mincemeat of the aces, no matter who we have in the team, feel barker is just around the corner from a big score, Covatti will have sorted out his bikes by Monday and lambert will like the tight turns at belle vue. King, Nermark and Starke to get maximum points and a large number of travelling supporters (two mopeds Ive heard) will cheer the lads on with a war cry, be afraid, very afraid the Brummies are coming. We are the ovalteenies happy boys and girls, Come on you Brummies. OH bugger it the pills have worn off again. -

So daft to have this fixture with half the KL team missing, when will promoters learn, if you want people to travel get the best team out on the track that you can, thats your won team not a select. If you travel, have a safe journey, Come on you BRUMMIES. -

Dave goddard is a good commenter he did the swedish league last year, bring him in, dosent get over the top excited either. I cant remember when it was but the meeting was at Sheffield and Olly Allen was the pundit, it was on the TV, Im sure and he came across very well and has got a nice clear voice, just a suggesten, I would like to see how other people do it, there must be other riders and tv pundits that would like to have a go, what happened to Dave norris, used to make me laugh. -

Good that, pity about the rain, roll on the next one. -
Thanks for that I was thinking about coming up to buxton, but can save some money now, hopefully next time.

I was asked a question the other day by a work mate, and felt a twit when I didnt know the answer. where do you find out which refs are going to be at each meeting, I had never even thought about this before, you just turn up and look at the Prog and see which one it is. Which is normally followed by a groan or a smile. Does anybody know and how do I find out, thanks.

Anybody know where I can get a scorecard for this meeting? -
Enjoyed that dispite the dust from tne motox track drifting over, some good races and the weather was fine, got on with it well. Sad to miss the Bronze helmet, but it wasnt mentioned by the bloke in the box so thought it wasnt going to be on, left after the main event. Some of the team need time to improve and hopefully they will do that, not sure what Im doing next weekend but might come up for the Cov meeting, word of warning Jayne, Ive seen Cov storm and they look good. Still I hope the Hitmen get better and can get some wins under there belts.

Was there really a bloke called mike cake? If so what a great name, fancy being known as Mr Cake, was he a hard rider or a bit spongey. -
Coming up today for the first fixture, hoping for some good speedway, any idea of the teams yet, like to know who Im watching, not followed it much, being a Brummies supporter had my own worries.

Oh you lucky devils , after our fantastic point winning performance last night at Poole , I knew we would win today, couldent even see the Robins getting 30, you should count yourselves Lucky Robins supporters, still we`ll never Know now. Booked a days Holiday for this as well, bloody weather, still roll on Monday, hope our lot havent gone off the boil, expecting Eddie to get double figures and King to turn his season around on a track he likes. See you there, come on you Brummies supporters get behind the team and come to Blunsdon, fast track and good racing generally. Come on you BRUMMIES. (hope nobody takes offence at anything I say, its all dont in the spirit of fun). -
Sorry to gloat, Rout, 60 plus, Poole couldent get 50. Had a good day, pleasant bit of sunshine, nice walk by the quay and meal, got my rock, 2 sticks. Nice Meeting up with some of the supporters from last season, good chat outside, great racing on a rough track, made worse by the wet conditions, but its the same for both teams and for the want of a decent number 1 we would have won, Kennet had one good ride and what the hell is wrong with King I dont know. Apart from one incident with an arse in the stand who spent the night wanting the home rides to put the away riders in the fence( he has a short memory. Holder had a coming together with the fence at Brandon and is still getting over it) and sorry to say I had to say something about his verbal abuse of Barker and then using words you dont really want in a family sport most of the night, really enjoyed it, very tense meeting from our point of view, expected to get well beaten and well pleased with the fight the lads put up. See you in June for the next one.
-
Fantastic even more reason to come now, holder against Kennett in the first race, neck and neck to the first bend, Eddie pushing holder wide to lead coming down the back straight, holder coming under him going into turn 3 and Eddie taking the lead back down the home straight. holder trying a handful around the first turn second lap but eddie holds him off, and its neck and neck down the back straight again as holder comes up the inside to take the lead, but Eddies hot on his heels, going into the third lap Eddie nearly has holder coming out of the top turn and draws level with the former world champion down the back straight, pushes holder wide coming out of turn four, eddie still in the lead and pulling away, holder has no answer to the Banger man, holder draws level going into the first bend for the last time and its neck and neck going down the back straight again, eddie just in front going into the bend, what a fantastic race and its kennett who takes the win.

it looks like the poole supporters are already running scared, so Ill start this one. Looking forward to this always enjoy our visits to Poole, have a walk along the key, nice meal and and ice cream and then some good class speedway with the title contenders Poole and Birmingham. New found confidence in Barker and King from the sheffield semi, Skornicki and Nermark riding well, theyll be hard to catch when they gate. King Eddie looking better all the time, and the reserves are bound to win heats 2 & 9, yes I can see us coming away with somethng from this meeting. hope its a stick of rock, I love rock See you there, come on you brummies get yourselfs down to Dorset and watch the brummies lower the jolly roger.

Easy 4 pointer for the brummies, the turn round in form of King and Barker at sheffield will fill them full of confidence. Skornicki and nermark riding well at the moment and with Kennett being a former robin we have our track expert who can give the other lads all the best lines to ride. Lambert and Starke to win heats 2 & 9 with ease, yes can see an easy 4 points coming our way. See you there people, bringing hankie for Rosco, bound to cry when you lose. its party time Brummies supporters watch us climb the league, play offs here we come.
