Couldent imagine not going to a speedway meeting, love my team and follow them every where when I can(sadly no more this season), but like going to places as a neutral as well. Enjoyed meeting at Peterborough, Wolves and Scunthorpe this week and seen some great racing, I must point out that I went to Leicester and coventry and sat there wondering what they have done to the speedway, a real bore fest. But the three trips to other tracks has stoked my interest again, when we come back I hope its PL.

Brummie supporter and came up for this one, should have been at Lakeside watching my team in the EL, but this was a far better meeting than I would have seen if the Brummies hadnt closed down. Great action, plenty of overtaking the odd fall, top class riding from all concerned Douglas and Jorgensen awesome riding from this pair, very enjoyable racing, nice people to talk to, well run and professional meeting. Really hope we come back in the PL a far superior league to the so called Elite league, thanks Scunny for a good day.

Went last night hoping for better than the last two EL meetings I went to at Leicester and Coventry and was well pleased with the meeting, a well prepared track, very smooth surface and enjoyable racing. Shame about Harris who bombed last night, Fricke worked out the track quick and did well, Mr Flint didnt mess about and the meeting ran at a decent pace, not rushed but steady. Felt wolves would have won if they had choosen a better guest at number one, nice night, good weather, very good meeting, there were quite a few Brummies supporters in the stadium as well. Thanks wolverhampton for restoring my faith in the EL for a little while. It was nice to get in with the Brummies season ticket as well.

Hoping to come to this, never seen the youth championships, any idea what time the doors open. Just hoping the weather is going to be kind, looking forward to the second meeting as well. Last two EL meeting I saw were poor hoping to see some good action from the PL boys. Do they do a programme for the youth one.

Dont quite understand what we would do with the money, is it for the riders, the rent, track staff or stadium staff, how would we use it and who looks after it. Not to trust worthy of promoters at the moment following the Phillips saga, lost a lot of money because of those gits. Like the idea in principal but would need a lot of reasons why I would hand any money over to a promoter unless he was hand cuffed to me. Already decided never to have a season ticket again so could afford 10 to 15 quid a month to go into a fund, but would need cast iron proof it was going to the right people.

Enjoyed Cardiff, nice day had a meal in the usual Pub Owain trafedal or something like that very reasonably priced. Met a few friends as we went round and finally sat in the park for an hour, enjoying the warm weather. Went back to the car for a cuppa and then walked down to the stadium again, tryed to rob us of our drinks, had the choice of drinking them or binning them, drank a couple but got the other two in, Pop only but felt like a small victory. Sat in the usual place second tier by the second bend, spotted some mates from Coventry and got over to chat to them and then sat down to watch the GP. Thought the bloke on the bike was good, stunt rider, rider intros were better than last year, cant remember his name but the track announcer was good, eastbourne bloke. Enjoyed the racing, the track was so much better than last year and liked it that the riders who fell got up and off the track, nice to see that git Pedersen didnt make the semis. Felt the racing was alright but the end result was wrong, got home about 11.15pm, love these early starts from this well run meeting. It was nice to stop worrying bout the Brummies for a few hours, love SGP and cardiff.

Is there any news about land or the new stadium, its seem to have gone very quite, we are nearly at the end of the first season and if this is going to happen, they should start moving things along.

Leicester -v- Belle Vue Saturday 5 July 2014
P T Preece replied to Phil The Ace's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We went to this as we were planning to go if the Brummies had been there, boring, Cant see myself going here again unless the Brummies re-surface this season. Its such a great place to watch and only an hour from me, nice stadium officals and quite a good team on paper but the racing is over after the first turn, unless somebody makes a mistake or an engine failure. Josh bates is coming on well looked very determined, full action rider. BV were poor, Cookie goes well around here normally after his first race win he dropped off, Harris the usual and Perry tried hard, Worrall poor and Toft not bad, Nicholls tried and Greenwood did his best. Leicester were much the better team and an all round performance on the night its just a shame the track dosent live up to the team. -
I love going to Cardiff, we have a great day out including the racing, The only time you can go to a speedway meeting knowing it willl be on.

I missed this one as I didnt land till 6.45pm from Denmark and had no way to get there, fell very sad I didnt see possibly the last meeting my team will ever have, the lads did what they could, well done to them, lifes a rubbishe at times, been to every meeting this season apart from Kings Lynn. I feel like I let them down by not being there.
