  1. I see poor Paco now has a broken ankle to add to his woes. Poor lad.
  2. So the deal was a pair of weegie kevlars in exchange for a cap and a couple of stickers? Not sure who got the better deal.
  3. Well I like to look back on this one courtesy of the Monarchs Chatzone (though nor the final score!).......... IPSWICH 'Sackers' WITCHES...48 1. Leigh Lanham © 3,3,2,1,0 = 9+2 2. 4. Don't want to tempt fate by changing commentary. Come on Portugal - stuff it to the Blues!
  5. I ordered 6. So should be enough to go round.
  6. Handy with me being a Rangers supporter.
  7. I ordered a few. Only cheap so we'll see if they are any good.
  8. Hopefully the cow bells will be here by Thursday then!
  9. Were there rival noise makers at ippo last week? (apart from the rubbish PA system.)
  10. Yep Bach for Barker never seemed like a great move. Bye the way, did Glasgow take back their Kevlars from Barker when they tossed him out? I see he was wearing his old Peterborough ones at Ippo last week.
  11. Think even you might be better than Harris baldyman.
  12. Shouldn't read too much into the Pairs result. King & covatti would have made a much better fist of it.
  13. The stands? We prefer to sit down.
  14. These newspapers will do anything to sell a few more copies. Disgusting. Strange old match last night. Meandering along in favour of Ippo, 10 points up and cruising and then wham bam, Good-Old-Pantomime-Villain Eddie knocks off the EL Superstar but not so good in the PL Joseph Jacobs and throws in a Dubbly Jubbly folowed immediately by a master class from Rye's two young Aussies #2015Legend Rob and Cammie Heeps over One-Trick-Pony Nico and all of a sudden the lead is down to 1 and it's squeeky bum time in Ippo. And what reward does #2015Legend Rob get for his efforts (2 wins)? Zilch - pack up your kit and go home Rob. We don't want/need you in heat 14, we'll stick with 2-point-Lanham. Hmmm. Wish you were back with the Monarchs Rob. But Ippo just about deserved the win, mainly down to British-Champ-in-the-Wet Danny King and Benjamin Yes-I'm-Wearing-My-Panthers-Kevlars Barker. Ippo's reserves were pretty patchy and well humped by Rye's pair, but they'll probably score more in the future than even folk hero Paco would have done. Track seemed a bit more like its old rough bumpy self. And the watering can was out a few times. A bit like the lights on the 1st & 2nd bends. Just like being back at Peterborough - "is there an electrician in the house?". And a decent effort by the BSF Massif. Shame we were pretty much ignored by the Ippo team - only Good-Old-Pantomime-Villain Eddie acknowledged our presence. And as for the referee - well let's not go there.
  15. Did Mr. Heeps lose to Jye Etheridge on Tuesday Macca? Just interested since I heard Jye scored 6+3.
  16. Nothing lasts for ever. Cookie was nigh unbeatable in the second half of last season and he has dipped a fair bit this season.
  17. Sign Cookie and I might go every week!! But pay the transfer fee for him, we need the money!!
