  1. Yep - be afraid. Be very afraid. And Somerzet have caught you up too.
  2. Good effort from Scunny. Took 3 Xx 5-1s in last 3 heats.
  3. Another 0-5! Unreal Twice in a row - heat 15 then heat 1!
  4. OK - there were a fair number of passes last night. And as you say even Mr. Risager went outside someone. I think Ippo were letting Pathetic Panthers make the starts a few times just to get some overtaking practice.
  5. I'm not sure Scunny cheat THAT often. No average fixing or sun-offs that I can remember.
  6. Still think you should take the opportunity to get down and dirty with say Mr. Risager or Mr. Bonker!!
  7. I see Baldyman has been taken to task by Young Mr. Louis in his programme notes by describing the track as "slick as usual" during the match against Berwick!! Mr. Louis discusses the description of "slick". In his opinion that would mean that the racing was slow whereas Mr. D. King put in the fastest time of the season at 0.2 outside the time set by the Fabulous Cookie Monster last year. (Just to jog your memories, it was on 16th July and came in Cookie's second race whilst riding at number 5, so actually in heat 6 - beating said Mr. D. King from behind - a feat he repeated in heat 13 but that took a lap and a half - and followed up by yet another win against Mr. D. King in heat 15) whilst on his way to a stroll in the park 15 point maximum ) Mr. Louis also questioned the phrase "as usual" since he had heard the team describe the track as a little too slick a couple of times, but Ippo have taken that on board. He says that was mainly down to the change in dirt supplier and it has been difficult to get as much grip in the surface without making the track very difficult to ride. Mr. Louis suggests that perhaps in future an updater should be given the opportunity to talk to any of the riders to get their opinion on track conditions so that an accurate and informed description can be used in future. And he would be happy with that. So it sounds like a great opportunity for anyone doing the updates to get down and dirty with a rider of their choice. All sounds like a good idea. For what it's worth, I didn't think the track looked slick against the Banditos or the Pathetic Panthers!!
  8. I hate dilemmas like that!! Given the increasing fame, or is it notoriety?, of the back straight BSF Massif at Fox Holes, we are happy for anyone else to come and join us if they are up for making a bit of noise/atmosphere. Even better if they want to bring musical noise, but the whistles yesterday were a welcome addition, (but remember no air horns allowed), though I wasn't convinced about Macca's disguise and African drum especially when he played the rain dance music on it and it then started to rain!!
  9. Or........................ Who was it in the BSPA, of which Rob Godrey has a major role (Vice Chairman?), that ordered Dan Bewley to ride at Buxton instead of at Scunny? Just asking!!
  10. Shame that Mitchell's performance has been overshadowed by the stoozy caused by the appeal. 3 rides - 4+1 including 3 times finishing ahead of Josh Bailey who clocks an NL average of 8.4 which is more than decent. And this after missing 3 years because of a very serious leg injury. Well done young man.
  11. Celtic & Hearts certainly but the Rangers would have another trophy for the cabinets. Celtic & Hearts certainly but the Rangers would have another trophy for the cabinets.
  12. Doubt the first team would play but the reserves or the youths might be up for it.
  13. Given that Kings Lynn locals are know for having an extra digit on each hand, what claims to fame do Peterborough locals have? (Other than constantly harping on and on and on about how great the EL was and is and how they need to be back there. Yawnnn.)
  14. We'll put in a protest about .............. ......... whatever.
