  1. Away form is certainly good enough to get into the playoffs. Just then need to score more away than you concede at home.
  2. After Jye's first 8 League and League Cup meetings, he was scoring on a par with Dan Bewley. Jye - 30 rides - 7 points - 3 bonus. Dan - 27 rides - 7 points - 0 bonus. (Dan missed the home meeting against Glasgow) Dan's scoring took off just after then. Jye's couldn't. So all a bit early to judge Jye as a flop especially when he had 3 home matches rained off in that time.
  3. But Rob has a place at Rye. Either as a guest while Karger is injured or after Karger is back and has ridden his one (or whatever) remaining minimum meeting. The fact that he is an asset of Redcar is totally irrelevant.
  4. So? Cookie is an Edinburgh asset. What difference does being an "asset" mean? Just means there's a loan fee.
  5. Rob B. is too busy permanently guesting for Rye.
  6. I hope Jye shows up all the naysayers and proves he can hack it over here!! Hardly had a chance to settle let alone prove himself.
  7. Proper speedway Nige...!! http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.31039 PL at its best!!
  8. Excellent. Really pleased for the lad and hope he makes a great go of it.
  9. They couldn't be commenting in the chatroom - they were all at the meeting.
  10. Deary me Macca that's a pretty grim run of luck. Thursday? Thought you were at sheffo? Or was it at the after meeting entertainment?
  11. IF Ippo had ever had a speedway Legend (capital L) in the 70's and 80's then that person would fit on the bottom rung of the Legends Ladder of which King Kenny was at the top. (But only when he played for Scotland - not when he was at Celtic.)
  12. Honestly didn't think we had a hope especially you saw our struggle to get home by a point at home on Friday to a pretty mince Rye house side. But hey-ho another time another place and some fantastic performances for a nice 4 PL points. It was a bit like watching last year's team - 5 big scores plus a few from the other ones. But... - no false starts/tape breaks/first bend bunches - no clouds of dust - some decent racing - only one faller who cleared the track even though a monarch was leading - racing started pretty much on 5pm as scheduled So well done Peterborough for all those good things. But your team took a helluva beating! Perfect for me indeed Mr. Gazc! But I get stick for calling them pathetic panthers! Looked perfect baldyman - just right! And a scorching hot day / strong wind / but no dust.
