Deffo looks like all 4 gates to me. Just the farthest away part of #1 still to be done when he was interrupted. -

Best £11.95 I've spent this year! Seemed a wee bit dragged out though - were Glasgow waiting for rain? Decent coverage though. Proper speedway Nige! -

Surely you'll hire a plane or helicopter to get Jorgensen up from Eastbourne? -

Got to be your old pal Summers surely?!! What about Jorgensen? Really bad luck on Ostergaard - he's been flying this season. Hope he makes a speedy recovery. Alex Harkess' comment was about right though. Sam on gate 1 and Picko on 3. Sam was never going to repeat his mistake from heat 13 and indeed flew out of the traps. Josh was always going to have the edge on Cookie who looked slow all evening and could well have kept Ostergaard behind him as long as he gated reasonably well. But we'll never know. I think a draw would have been a fair result. I remember a few years back when we were up on holiday and watch us get humped at home by Glasgow. The return match was that weekend but we were on the train at the same time. Couldn't believe the updates as we piled on the heat wins. Ran out of internet around heat 10 but found we had won comfortably. History repeat would be good!! -

Looked to me like he was trying to make all the gates fairer. #1 certainly seemed to have too much of an advantage up til then. And how was he doing 2 and 4 but not 3?!! And I think he was working his way across to #1 when the complaints came in. They have done it over the past few matches including the Newcastle one so not really going for an advantage. -

If it's a last heat decider surely the reserves will no longer be having an influence? -

Obviously he does since he's just signed for Sheffield! -

Don't know the visa rules but some of the higher ups at Edinburgh are expressing surprise he hasn't been signed and they know way more than me. Josh is desperate to get a PL spot. His gating was poor at first which might have put some off. But it has really improved now. But his passing is fantastic. He'll never be content to pootle round at the back like some were last night. -

Quite possibly. But these things can readily be overcome - if there's a will. Might cost a couple of quid but got to be worth it. -

Can't fathom why KL haven't signed Joshie Pickering at Edinburgh. Absolute entertainer plus more points than some of the dross in the KL team. -

Didn't see him as being especially rude. It was a stupid time to try to interview him when he had just seen his rider Nick Morris bounce down the track and was quizzed on how Morris was - having not had a chance to see him because he was called for an interview!! -
Sensible and articulate. Seems a nice guy.

Only applies to a race. Sometimes announcement of changes to a race lineup are not made in time or are indistinct. And lighting at some tracks is poor enough to make helmet colours hard to pick up. -
Only those born & bred in Norfolk, if you don't mind!!

Thanks Taps - and a Guid New Year to you all too. Doing as well as is possible in the bowels of Narf'k. No speedway at all for me this past year - we are close-ish to Saddlebow Rd but I won't give my pennies to Chapman. Enjoy the high life in the PL!!

Technically Blu is correct. There was no year 0 AD. It went from 1 BC to 1 AD. This calendar wasn't worked out till the 6th century mind you - folks in the BC era didn't know when/if Jesus was going to be born!!

If Stormy has to ride at #5 I'm not sure he's likely to hit a 6.92 average unfortunately.

Erik Riss did pretty well at Armadiddle.
