  1. C'mon wee Dan the 12 Year Old Man - great start! Heavens second ride even better - 0.1 seconds outside the T/R!!
  2. Yeah sure. And the sun shines brightly in weegieville.
  3. Blooming heck arnie that's grim reading. But a postponed double header is just like playing the joker.
  4. Yep 8 it is. Going for the record. Mibbee to have it by now? Still only August as well.
  5. Yep. Prefer to have 8 postponements. Volunteers on a Friday tend to have day jobs.
  6. Not another jumpstarter like Sarjeant. Meetings would last all night!!
  7. Cam rides Edinburgh well I must say. Just not so good everywhere else!! Oops what have I said?
  8. Wells should prefer the silky smooth shale at Armadiddle compared to the bumps of Foxholes!
  9. I've been saying the same regularly about the bumps and darkness! Have to say last night was probably great for the local fans but pretty tedious for the neutrals. Precious little spirit shown by Worky - I knew they were poor on the road but not this bad. Wells & Jensen made the effort and Williamson for a lap before he frightened himself by being in the lead in heat 2 and then binned it. But ippo were very professional and they all rode well (though maybe it wasn't Risager's finest hour being taken from behind by Jensen!!). Young Sir Alec looked much better. Very fast and a couple of good overtakes. Not sure he is always in complete control but certainly better without the very big bumps on the track that were there last week. (lucky Mr. Wells wasn't at Foxholes then!)
  10. I take it all back. Guilty yet again of underestimating the lads. No stroll in the park for sheffo or a 25 point humping for us. Instead what seems to have been a great fighting battle to lose by a whisker. But in my defence I didn't expect Dan the 12 Year Old Man to be paid for a dozen and the whole team bar Kevin to pick up a race win each.
  11. Hmmm - I thought I was being realistic too. Sheffo are very strong at home and have a fired up Garrity back. Yes they dropped points at home the other couple of weeks but were unlucky with Stead being withdrawn. And they put 50 past Somerset last week. Obviously I hope for a much better result and would cheer them on in every race if I were there, so I think I do "support" the lads. But I don't blindly think we are going to win every meeting. And I don't slag off riders who aren't doing so well. I would have expected us to do better at Somerset than Sheffield given our previous form there but we got well tanned last night. And now the Fish has an injury. If he is out R/R will do us no favours. If he is riding, how fit will he be? So yes a win would be wonderful but do I think it's going to happen?
