  1. It's based on the heats the guys race in I think so with Perks having many of the easy reserve races then he won't figure.
  2. Pretty dire fare that was. Finally on lap 2 (or 3?) of heat 15, lambert who was well in the lead, tried a wider line round turns 1 & 2. Didn't gain or lose any ground, but at least he tried something no-one else did all night. Dunno what ippo have done to the track but I think the racing has been poor all season. Just nothing close and an overtake is such a rarity. It was far better 2 maybe 3 seasons ago. Just seems to be a gater's track now but not because it's so slick.
  3. In the back straight stand exactly opposite the start line, but half way up the stand.
  4. Big Ben Hopwood is no mug. Could outscore the wee mountain tonight.
  5. Come on Paulco - I might occasionally dabble in forward psychology, but I think it's you that's at it now!! Barker, Garrity & Wright as as likely to hit the deck as they are finish ahead of your heat leaders. And most of your top scorers rode for Redcar at some stage didn't they? (Well maybe RW didn't but his twin did so that's pretty much the same thing.)
  6. Stroll in the park for the Weej. They should hang up their expensive kevlars if they don't pick up the 4 points tonight.
  7. Is this Suffeckers Show going to affect the journey from the A12 to Fox Holes?
  8. Yes we are usually involved in all competitions well through the rounds so it's always hard to fit in the extra fixtures - and of course last season we lost heaven knows how many matches to the weather.
  9. Knew I'd get a bite with that one! (I didn't know the next opponent - assumed it was ippo or the Weegies!)
  10. Yep that's the dilemma MD. Cleggy has the ability - needs to be able to show it on the big tracks. Change of approach required on the biggies?
  11. Panters are a lot weaker without BWD and holder so it could be a bit tighter. Scunny certainly went well at newcy.
  12. Very hard to call this one. Based on the Armadiddle leg, Sheffo should stroll it. But the track just might suit Smiler, Rickyyyyyy. the Risss Bros and Picko a bit more than Armadiddle did that night. Might come down to how our reserves fare. Can Cleggy reproduce a bit of his Newcy and home form at Owlerton????? If so then ...............................................!!
  13. Stroll in the park for Ippo - at least 55 points for the homers. I even expect Connor Mountain to score more than 1.
