  1. He's well capable of that especially if the track is gate and go as usual.
  2. This could be as good a meeting as you'll get at fox holes this season baldyman. Your capitano says Sedgy had 2 big crashes recently so needs to build his confidence up again. And that nice Mr. Louis has said they have made some tweaks to the track.
  3. I never give in to blackmail and my first name's not Neil.
  4. Hot water bottle / thermos / double layers of everything more like!!
  5. Forecast seems to have perked up a bit for tomorrow so maybe Mr. Vatcher won't have to flip a coin as to which team gets the 3 or 4 points.
  6. But after all the work done over the winter surely the drainage must be first class?
  7. You don't expect all weegies to be able to spell do you?
  8. Yay a point!! We are mince at last heat deciders at the moment.
  9. I'm easily upset!! But I am not at all confident about this one. Our form is a bit patchy at the moment so it all depends on which team and which version of our riders turn up. As I said in another thread - it would be nice if they could do something to the track and we could get some decent racing but I'm not confident about that either. Smiler has been patchy away from home - a bit like Mr. King - and is averaging under 8 away. Mark seems to have gone slightly off the boil since he started riding for Wolves too. Erik could score anything - he blazed the start of the season but some say he tinkers too much now looking for perfection. Josh might do ok once he has sussed out the track - depends on whether there is only the one 4 foot wide line. Ricky can score anything but I think is our top scorer away from home. Cleggy could be our key. If he gates like at Newcy he could well score BIG points, otherwise he'll have to try to battle past on the only line. Mitch needs to stay on the bike especially in his first ride! In theory should be good for a couple. Hopefully we will score in the 40's but whether it's the 0, 1, 2, or 3 point version is anybody's guess. Let's hope we have none of the shenanigans that happened at Scunny and Redcar in the past week.
  10. Think this Spanish Weegie Inquisition has probably gone far enough. Even sleeping dogs are allowed some rest.
  11. Similar to Josh P. this season - he could be earning a lot more if he had a bigger home track but he knows (and Sam says) that when he has mastered Armadiddle he'll be able to ride everywhere. Absolutely agree. But such minority sports as ours need every inch of coverage we can get. But it's a big price to pay.
  12. I think that's what the headline writer wrote not actually what JC said which was more on the lines of the lowest scoring so far of all the 2016 newcomers. But that's newspapers for you - as you know by the paper headlines about our football team.
  13. The problem last year was that Jye came in on a high average and couldn't drop below it and therefore couldn't drop into reserve which is what he desperately needed. There was always a decent rider there but we didn't have enough points in the team at the time to be able to carry him. At least by having his average reduced this season he has now being able to get a gig and is starting to show his ability. He has previously beaten many of the top boys in Aussie land. A reserve berth is obviously good for his confidence.
  14. Looks like it could have been mighty close at weegieville if Bridger had been there. And good to see one of our boys scoring well at reserve for the 2nd meeting in a row - take a bow Mr. Etheridge.
  15. So how was the track when the wet panties dropped off?
