  1. Yep should be packed to the rafters after a long delay since the last team match. Though maybe a lot will leave at half-time rather than put up with having to watch Ippo.
  2. But only £26 if bought in advance. £16 a match at the fox holes. And more entertainment than most places - the return of the Messiah in the first one for instance.
  3. I think there is a difference between losing interest in the sport and losing interest in going to watch the sport. I am still interested in the former and will happily partake in the BSF and speedway related Facebook threads and other online sources. I have very much lost interest in the latter largely due to the shambolic state of fixture planning (1 week on / 3 weeks off seems to be a norm but it could be 3 matches on in 1 week and then 5 weeks off), but compounded by the actions of many of the managers/promotors of the venues nearest to me. (And the actions of Bustit Chapman of course.) So I've gone from a season ticket holder at a venue 80 miles away 2 seasons ago, to a regular attendee (and BSF Massif original member) last season, to now being a keyboard whinger who might put in an occasional appearance if my own team is visiting or if I think there's a possibility of a close meeting on a decent track (unlikely) between teams not riddled with guests or r/rs (even more unlikely). But I'll still follow the Updates heat by heat, match by match, so my interest in the sport hasn't gone. Could I be tempted back to a stadium? Yes maybe. But an awful lot will have to change about the way the sport is run.
  4. Just stick them on Ignore and stop Liking your own posts!!
  5. Good isn't it!! I wonder if anyone would believe I'm a Weegies, Ippo or Panties fan? Or all 3?
  6. Yep - like a kipper!! And just noticed he got a like too - so that's 2 kippers!! Yay! Bring back the knitters I say.
  7. That's horrendous. Bl**dy kids running riot everywhere. It's meant to be a sport for oldtimers to watch in peace.
  8. Highlights the TOTAL STUPIDITY of the BSPA decision to have the transfer deadline so early in the season. And how can the sport have any credibility when the head honcho goes by the name of Buster? Sounds like what he is doing to British speedway. And did he fully recover from the "heart attack" he had at Armadiddle?
  9. Sad to say but speedway is like water going down the plug hole at the moment. And it goes faster as the sink gets more empty.
  10. Yes - leg injury. Might be back for next week.
  11. You never miss what you had until it's gone.
  12. If it's a million pound rollover again, then the red cars will get all 4 points.
  13. Don't think the track lends itself to great racing for whatever reason.
  14. Yay - proper regional leagues!! Good luck with Bust & Gerry!!
  15. If you say so!! I've mentally erased the transfer deadline day machinations!! I just hope Buster's mob don't get in the play-offs and then lose to a CL team and then come down to screw the CL the way he has the PL. Got enough Eastern Region clubs doing that already!!
  16. So are Ippo going to roll over and let the Red Cars tickle them 'cos they would be afraid of taking on the Mighty Monarchs now that we are nearly back up to full strength for the first time in two and a half months?
  17. Ouch really bad luck for the lad. And another example where the transfer deadline was too early when applied to long term injury replacements.
  18. Still needs to drop his average a fair bit before we can fit him in next season.
