Fantastic optimism. Glass totally overflowing for you. Just can't see it myself. Cookie had a fantastic season but will need another fantastic season just to stand still. Can't see much improvement in average if any - certainly not 0.5, though I'm sure he will improve more as a rider. Max should up his average hopefully but maybe 1 point is as much as we should hope for. Deek is unlikely to improve his average. Aaron will have to do extremely well to hold his starting average. I would expect him to drop by 1 point or so. Sam I would hope might be able to add 0.5 to his average. Any more would be a huge bonus. Steve is the one I really hope can kick on next season - another 2 points must be a good possibility as long as riding in 3 divisions doesn't do for him. Just have No idea about. In theory there should be 1 to 1.5 to come - I really hope so. I just fear it is too dependent on Cookie winning nearly 5 every match. I can see some home defeats coming up. Just my opinion of course!

The points limit won't let you have a team of big points scorers. It does however let you have a team of 6 pointers. And as for "won't amount to anything in the sport", a 6-7 point PL average already puts him well inside the top 50% in the UK. I would be happy to have him in my team.

But he's older and wiser now and still only 20. And even the Fish dropped his average substantially at Plymouth.
